What game are you trying to be good at at what experiences do you have that you feel are big hurdles? I think It's good to be specific and try to recall a specific sequence that happened in game that you wanted to go differently. I think being vague makes it harder to fix what you're trying to fix. I started playing League of Legends I'm pretty bad at it. One thing I'm consistently failing to do is time my active item that gives my ally a shield. Often times I even forget to use it in a fight. One thing I know about gaming is that because It's so fast pace a lot of the time you're running on your unconscious to do things because there's so little time to think you have to already know how to react and have practiced it. Something I like doing is thinking outside of the game and imagining situations and how I should react to them. League is a very complex game and you have to be mindful of a lot of different interactions happening and there are going to be nuanced situations that should be played differently so I'm not going to catch everything and that's ok. Like everything is practice both pro and amateur boxers practice throwing punches in the mirror.
