More of a bump, but something that I think could work well for explaining gaining is biology and how space travel affects it. I wouldn't be surprised if our own species has to take a bunch of medications when space travel starts hitting multiple years for individuals, but now imagine an advanced species that is either biologically designed to get big, or maybe had a culture of doing so. Long-term space travel requiring medications and !ozempic to keep them thin and lessen the strain on oxygen and other vital systems meant to keep them alive.
Then they get PlanetSide and they are able to finally stop the doses and actually consume in the way their body is demanding of them

Plus, one other angle I always overlook is culture. Inspired by a recent drop in Helldivers 2, maybe they come from a colder planet, where having enough mass to handle the cold is important. Even after developing climate control tech and designs, all their fashion and art is built around dealing with the cold and the wind.

It would be a fun culture combo to then introduce them to something like the weather and fashions of places like South East Asia or Latin America, though I'm sure they'llpraise Spain's siesta time

So that’s what had people upset about Jax? I have to say I think it’s fairly obvious he’s not actually just an ass like a lot of people seemed to think, that bathroom scene where he presumably almost abstracts shows that. I’m glad that Pomni grew a backbone and still told him off even after they spent the whole episode flirting and practically sexing. Animation was super on point with stuff like Pomni’s ricochet shot and the facial expressions were especially charming and cute, really curious to know how much it costs to animate a single episode at this point and if that Shitdix money helped much. Seeing the semi-return of the sexkino that was evil Pomni was a treat. Jax’s VA’s delivery at the end was great and it makes me really sad Fagazon/Vivzie sacked him and replaced him with that other guy. I enjoyed the pairings overall and the attention to detail on the guns was a welcome surprise. My suspicion that Caine is becoming less caring about keeping up the facade is further confirmed this episode, that whole back and forth between him and Zooble after he gives them guns felt super eerie despite the humor, not to mention the whole contradiction about worrying about interpersonal drama and then literally giving everyone the objective to ‘kill’ each other and causing even more drama than any other adventure would have produced. Ming is the best.
