My view of WK is that Weiss is someone who cares deeply for Jaune and does her best to make sure he’s okay and takes care of himself. They have a deep and intimate relationship but it’s not quite romantic because he just doesn’t feel like he’s well enough to be a boyfriend or husband, and this saddens Weiss but she cares about him enough now to just be the support that he needs.I think there’s actually something deeply romantic about a dynamic like this that isn’t itself romantic.
