If the combat is so dull, then up the difficulty. And if your getting spoiled by the dialogue for puzzles, maybe turn off the hints? Or skip the cutscenes, if its gonna make you upset? And god forbid, the game having more story and cinematic for a legacy game character, that had 6 years past by since the last game. You just want the og gow gameplay? Play the remasters. Its right there. Old and nu gow are still hack and slashes, but because the camera changed, and theres more downtime, its movie game slop, as if the og’s were perfect in gameplay and story. And totally didnt have holes in it at all. And ps, idgaf about the cube. It didnt take me out of the 1 minute of screen time it had in a 20 minute preview. And considering the squirrel and the tree head dude, its just childish to be “taken out” by a fantasy slime cube. And pps, I dont give a fuck about what the “major audience” says about a game from their subjective thought. I try the game, and I decide if I like it or not. Whether “sony bros” think its mid or bot, is not a factor in my enjoyment at all. Its gay to think about what other people think about a game you had not even tried out yourself.
