If the combat is so dull, then up the difficulty. And if your getting spoiled by the dialogue for puzzles, maybe turn off the hints? Or skip the cutscenes, if its gonna make you upset? Maybe something like For Honor is up to your pace; alot of gameplay there, if you dont want any story. Maybe the combat there is better for you, in comparison to gow somehow.

Its right there. Old and nu gow are still hack and slashes, but because the camera changed, and theres more downtime, its movie game slop, as if the og’s were perfect in gameplay and story. And totally didnt have holes in it at all. And ps, idgaf about the cube. It didnt take me out of the 1 minute of screen time it had in a 20 minute preview. And considering the squirrel and the tree head dude, its just childish to be “taken out” by a fantasy slime cube.
