It'll always vary on a case by case basis depending on the OC, but I'll generally be for it, especially if it's F/m. Though the typical defaulting to canon characters as prey only if they're female has typically kept my interest away from it as a larger dynamic.
Related, I think that it's fairly less common for someone to want to see characters they're attracted to as prey rather than preds, but if a female artist were to crop up like that, gushing about and drawing themselves/their OC eating her various media crushes, I'd follow that unicorn instantly.
