I use to go exploring and mining with a crew in Elite and we would listen to the same music and recommend songs while we mined. We'd break Cluster Nodes together and just mine for hours. It was incredible and I miss it dearly.
I preordered No Mans Sky. I bought it a second time on pc. I never had fun with combat in No Mans Sky. I never tried combat in Elite because of it. Is it fun? I ask for both games because people I know are really into SC and it intrigues me so.

I love star citizen, but I can't in good faith recommend it to you. It's the most deep sim that exists in gaming in any genre, so there is no other game you can play that can match that scope, but it's so broken that it's just abysmal to play. Elite dangerous just works. It's older though. Not quite as visually stunning, but it's complete and it's really good. I have 1k hours in elite. Also . . it supports VR natively, which is pretty cool. And, to answer your question, yeah, the combat is amazing. The sim is top tier in both games. You can turn off flight assist for true zero-G space battles and pull of some crazy reverse flying and stunts with the side thrusters and such.

Limerence isn't a universal, every new relationship is actually limerence kind of deal. Even bpd and other cluster b personality disorders do not necessarily experience limerence but there's a high overlap. The Beach Meet was something I just wanted to see again to some degree, I haven't been posting much about it since my ISP is still fucked and I'm forced to phonepost.
I'm not terribly opposed to rescheduling the Beach Meet to be later on, as I finally got around to checking the map I'd planned on hosting just to find one of the main selling points isn't done proper. There are other maps, but I've gotta go through them again and evaluate if it's worth reaching out to the creator or just hosting a different map.

As far as I can tell, it's just a funny gimmick meet. I honestly don't think it will impact "meet fatigue" much. Nor will the Beach Episode. The current date was in mind because it's before a close friend here goes out of town, and it was initially spaced enough that people would have plenty of time to acquire clothing for the event.
The 26th and 3rd (4th of July Meet, I would assume) could work as well, the latter almost being fitting.
A beachside bonfire with fireworks would indeed be nice. A pallet inferno shouldn't be too hard to get, if I do have to commission a customized map.
