A little lighter on time, so I did Everyone is Asleep since I tend to like the creator's other works. I felt it was pretty good, and I would say it is the best part of May Wolf 2026 now. It was much more metaphorical about someone that is kind of trapped in a bad mental cycle and everything that brought him comfort slowly fading out of his life. One thing about good metaphors is that if someone were to take the events at face value, you could just as easily enjoy them as supernatural events happening. I would say it is worth checking out, and it fits in line with the darker tone of a lot of his other works, so if you like his other stuff, you will most likely enjoy this as well. I will most likely start SA at some point in this thread and pop in to talk about it, but I'm not sure if I will have time for a longer summary review. Hopefully it works better for that game that way.

Started Socially Awkward, and it is pretty intense in tone with most characters being very bombastic. It kind of breaks through the problems I have with a lot of comedic FVN because of it feeling like it owns it. Maybe at some point there will be a big dramatic twist, and it will go against it. It also has an awful route selection that is basically random without the game page telling you. So I tried a little bit of everyone, and here are my first impression rankings:1. Maccon2. Tom3. Rask4. JohnThis is mostly based on what little of each I played and isn't really a solid list yet, just mostly vibe picks. Jayce also has extreme anxiety and autism, so he feels like a wildcard when he wants to flip between mode A and B. Going with Maccon to start even though I know he is still a work in progress that will be redone at some point, but it what I want to do and will hopefully give me a good taste of the rest of the FVN should I want to check it out.

Got to chapter 4. Looking back at some CGs I wonder if MC is even the same person between the normal world (i.e. where he has his normal life) and the current one. Could just be art inconsistencies, but if they aren't then how did current Cyrus not get any stubble despite being on the run at least two days, at least I think they're two but even if it's just one that's already enough to grow some. The eyebrows are also shaped differently, otherwise the facial structure seems to be the same but then again I can't write that off as same face syndrome just yet.The plot thickens

Finished up Maccon. I'll go easy on it since it is going to be redone. My main complaint is that it feels very focused on David and Tom over him. It is also a little confusing with the world-building since the game acts like there are only canines and felines that exist when two dragons show up. Unless that is going to be changed at some point. Also, there are evil spirits now? I still like Maccon. Pretty short so far, and I think I will do Tom's route next since he is one of the more complete ones.
