The Naughty Dog games reflect that, brains to complement brawns and whatnot. A minor nitpick, not too bummed out about it.It also helps dissociate when gooning too. It's funny the production bible for Crash says that Tawna is actually super intelligent and can match wits with Cortex but there's not a hint of this in the actual game

All I'm getting is that Tawna would probably have been the one telling Crash what to do or give him gadgets she makes to help him if they expanded on her genius.I think Coco could still exists as the mechanics gal (like Gadget from Rescue Rangers or Tails from Sonic) so Tawna makes the blueprints, Coco builds and Crash uses them.
