Turned the computer on and...it was fixed! Runs flawlessly now, and not only flawlessly, but BETTER than it ever has! Lower temperatures across the board, no sign of crashing no matter what I do, it's suddenly perfect! Months of a hundred different weird fixes and attempts and checks, nothing, then the thing nearly blows up and now works like a charm!
