But God Damn did it make their legs, hips and ass bigger, which on it's own is fine but only served to shrink their bellies proportionally.

Someone years ago pitched an idea I liked where the Calamity Trio essentially just...retire...from life, after their experiences. Yeah we have people the size of multi-story houses and robots controlled by AI feeding them bigger and rebuilding bigger buildings to hold them. I haven't seen anything on that scale outside of WG fiction(and even then only a handful like that one really long Japanese one I read a couple years ago)

Basically a planet developed robots and advanced AI to save on labour, which steadily took over more and more jobs until there was nothing left for any of the humans to do except laze around. Girl there resisted hard, working the last jobs as long as possible until the robots were so efficient she couldn't even try as it was all already done. (Meanwhile her husband gave in early and was already that size while she was still slim). This was like a decade in the past.

With literally nothing to do anymore, but eat and laze around being entertained, everyone got fat, really fat. Even that woman who tries to walk as much as possible is still obese from the plentiful fattening food. By the time the main character gets there, the world looks abandoned and everything is run by robots, only to discover later all the humans are in buildings when a gigantic blob bursts out of their house, only for a robot swarm to quickly build it bigger. That woman is following the main character(who's visiting the planet) around and trying to get him to take her off planet because she knows she's doomed here and everyone else has long since fallen into lethargy.

It's a slow burn in a weird exponential way. Like, it starts off very slow and takes a while for things to start happening, and then they happen, and then they gradually keep happening faster and faster and faster. It's a long story, but the pace of the weight gain accelerates the whole time and things get more and more out of hand. (the story takes place over the span of about 20 years in universe)

I've tried it a few times for similar purposes. It tends to hyperfixate on some details and repeat them over and over, and then other details it'll just toss them out in bullet points using the exact language you did in order to fulfill the technical standard of having mentioned them.

2001 Penny has potential for sleeper kino imo, I love when a girls outfit at her normal weight only shows a sliver of tummy but as her weight blows up that sliver of midriff is the crack in the armor of her wardrobe that turns into a tidal wave of belly. What was once a mild almost chaste view of midriff has become her enormous gut in full embarrassing view.
