Sure, quick little works would be nice to see on the regular, but even if that became the main draw here, people will always want long fulfilling stories of compelling characters. Hell, you may have a funny situation develop where some people write a short story, and enjoy the premise so much that it becomes an episodic long story because they keep revisiting the characters.
