>>83620313You don’t need to, post what you feel like! I was just finding silly excuses for my ADHD tendencies. The main tendency being, to miss posts that are right there and obvious.>(I noted that was the 48 hour one so of course you were!)Heroic… I guess I can kinda see that, but I feel like it’s more about discipline than heroism, perhaps the same with fighting “darkness.” But yeah, I think, what this conversation has told me, is that I wouldn’t have wanted to be one of the ones having to decide type names. I bet what actually happened with a lot of them was that there was just a lot of debate and it wasn’t the most agreed on name that one, but the least disagreed on. All of these are probably compromises in some way. I bet there was one guy who would have named Water type “Liquid Type” and then where would we be? I could also see Ice type having just been named “Cold type.”I do remember you telling me some of that before, but I suppose I never put it all together in such a complete picture as that. Actually, maybe you end up typing more how you actually talk than I do, since, uh, I don’t typically have typos when I speak.>>83622915 (beryl)>>83622728 (lucy)(I want to add: Lucy DID meet Taner in person before, and his whole team too. It was a while back, October 9, 2022 in Dewford Town, where Floch introduced his team including Lucy, Sevil, and Sputnik, to Taner and everyone. Lucy even participated in a prank on Taner (Floch charged at Lucy and pretended to be severely injured. Lucy softened her spikes so Floch wouldn't actually be hurt, Taner panicked and offered Wish from his team before Floch revealed it was a joke) and Lucy even had a battle with Ivy (which was a draw). And Star was planning to teach her how to read-- or that might have been Sevil?)(Now maybe she's forgotten all of that, she does seem to have gone more than a bit feral in the meantime)
>>83620334>It seems to have paid off for him! Of course, he was already starting with more power than trainers normally do, and Julius brought a lot of experience with him that’s sure to have helped, but even so, it’s impressive!>Taner will>This may actually be somewhat terrifying>And so, Star does the rundown>Star waves a wand, and Flow now has a shotgun“I agree. Do keep the weapons within a realistic level for what someone like Zodiac might carry.”>Well, that’s not actually that limiting at all!>Oceana says“We should diversify our weaponry then… I’d like a sniper rifle.”>Okay, I’ve spend entirely too much time thinking about this and even outsourced some parts of the issue to AI and I did get some interesting ideas from that>The board doesn’t have spoilers, but we could use a free website like https://v2.cryptii.com/text/rot13 to convert the guard locations, golden ball placement, and movements to ROT13 (or whatever else), post it in your post, and anyone can convert it back as needed. It’s weirder looking than spoiler tags but has the same result and may be less cumbersome than a full rentry?>As for the map, a grid-based one seems like it makes the most sense, that way you can easily say where others are on the grid…>The first post Taner walks in, I’ll roll for Taner’s observation, higher number is better, and you can give me a list of what he notices/sees from the entrance>Then, I'd move Taner saying what grid he moves to, if he hides behind something, and maybe a roll to decide if he fumbles something or does really well>Then you decide if anyone sees/hears him or not, and if they move, and perhaps post that encoded as well>And then rolls for hitting with the bullets are like normal move rolls but with penalties if Taner is behind cover?>I’m open to changing any and all of this of course>Depending on how it goes/how long it ends up taking, maybe Doro will get roped into giving it a try and we can play it the other way around too
>>83620741 (Sekhmet)“I wish it would work like that! But yeah, if there’s a way to do it, the people who’ve found out aren’t telling!”>Taner raises his hand in the air“I don’t think you’d find that any more fun than I would, I don’t think I’d be able to get even remotely close to something you’d consider good exercise!”>Besides, she burns so many calories, Sekhmet really doesn't need to exercise, in fact it might be counterproductive even if it’s a tiny drop in the bucket…>Star replies“The qualifier of being within range is something I would expect is an accurate and an important one. If you get to your destination then even the next nearest star that you passed would be 1.2 trillion miles away. Even a teleporter who could target something on the other side of this planet would have a maximum range of 25,000 miles rounded up. Perhaps the fact that there would be nothing else aside from cosmic radiation between you and the second nearest landmark would alleviate the issue the massive distances involved cause. But I do not know that.”>It sounds like the biggest risk of this might not be if it’s possible for Sekhmet to survive space, but if it’s possible for anyone to navigate space without a whole bunch of instrumentation on hand… maybe she’ll have those instruments inside her somehow?>Perhaps they had to move this conversation to dinner lol(Being silly is more of a friendly rival than a foe!)>They do, and Star had also basically said Sekhmet should spend her winnings on the SEKHMET initiative so she wouldn’t be expecting the bounty hunter to pay>Taner got quite a good amount of winnings in the Z-A right after that, and Star had him put most of it in savings/investments, so he’s technically got a lot of money but is trying to only use his winnings and not that>He also still pays to feed some wild Pokemon sometimes, like the Gliscor>Repose will have no idea Sekhmet is okay with him sitting on her lap unless she gives some indication of that>1/2 sorry
>>83620741>He’s probably rather sit where he can view the entire group and the door at the same time, anyway, because he’s like that“I made it to B before the whole, uh, thing happened, and the ranks were all reset. After that I made it back up to G before going back to the gyms. A lot of trainers participating in the second round of it were a lot better than the ones participating in the first rounds. Doro also did amazing, of course, he has a natural sneaking advantage. Still planning on going back anytime I get low on money, as long as they keep running it, it’s a lot faster than the Route battles, and the fact that we have such a big family and there are no rules between switching what six Pokemon we bring between one battle and the next means we can get a LOT of battles done in one night without having to use items. That, and Wish.”>So part of Taner’s tactics in the Z-A was to outlast the other trainers during the time it was running…>Star noticed the tats, but… the rest of it…>Taner has put it together in his head a lot faster than Star does, but the difference is that when Star does– thanks in part to being able to read Taner’s thoughts– she puts together what it -means- a bit quicker>Now… Can they actually mention that? Sekhmet is almost certainly aware of what it means, herself, and has noticed and is probably pretty happy about it, but bringing up may not be good if only because I’m pretty sure Taner and Star aren’t supposed to have the knowledge that she was cursed in the first place and she’ll wonder how they got that, since it’s from Oceana>But it’s very good news, and probably means a lot of Sekhmet’s future plans have changed now, not just the SEKHMET initiative>Yes I’m going to canonically call it that now>>83629756>Which pokemon have you never managed to meet, despite everything?Assuming we aren't talking about Legendary Pokemon?Don't think I've met a Piloswine, in battle or otherwise.
(and this is as far as I get before work, sorry if I missed anyone)>>83621395>Teleo and Taner are on the exact same page there“If the other ones are nearly as good as that one, I’m sure I’ll love them all!”>Then“And, if Teleo’s connections don’t work, I also have a few, between the two of us I’m sure we can figure it out! I actually get a sponsorship from the League themselves in return for writing them up reports about, uh, some of the strange things that happen to me, and letting them do some tests on Star and others, which they all agreed was well worth it.”>Star nods“A boon in fact. I do wish to know more about myself. But finding those whom I would trust perform such tests was difficult for me.”>So Taner probably wrote a report of what happened with Zodiac recently to the League? And got paid for said report?>Perhaps if he isn’t going to get paid by the rangers that’s the next best thing>Fea is willing to go all out with the kiss, passion and all! He doesn’t seem to view kissing as cheating in any way, so feels no guilt about that“All the more ENERGY we’ll both have for tomorrow~”>Though Fea thinks that Teleo will catch on pretty soon after waking up, a sober Teleo will be much harder to fool>He wonders if Taner will have realized by then?>>83621790>>83623574“Got it!”>And Taner does just that, grabbing the Max Revive and using it on the Sneasler>Lightspeed will have arrived with the other too, and Taner will give Star’s ball to him“Take her to the Pokemon Center, okay?”>And then, he hopes, back to him… He’ll probably be able to sense it through the link when she’s back, depending on how far the Pokemon Center is away>This allows him to say with Mho and the Sneasler>Also, to tell Mho“He was really, really insistent on battling.”>And then, to Teleo as they head there“Thank you very much for the cover, by the way.”>And now, all he can do, much like Teleo, is follow Mho

In the wild, this is when Willow would use his spores to put him to sleep before draining his energy...>But he doesn't do that anymore, Doro makes sure they all have food!>>83634360Maybe you should ask first?>>83634495>True, Julius is a big help, even if his information is sometimes outdated.>Flow inspects the weapon with a slight smile"Cool.">They exchange glances at that remark, what -wouldn't- Zodiac carry? Water pistols?>Oceana's suggestion gets a nod from Doro"Good idea, how about an assault rifle for me.">Doro suspects he'll do well with something rapid fire>Then, Julius"I shall use a pistol. Or perhaps two...">He'll settle on two once he experiments with them for a bit>Finally, Willow tries out a few different weapons on Doro's suggestion, but his aim... isn't good.>Then Doro gets another idea!"Hey Star! How about letting Willow have grenades filled with Sleep Powder and a grenade launcher?">Oh boy>That is a lot!>I like the cipher idea, definitely would work better than rentries>As for the rest, I think that all works for me, we can always change something on the fly if it doesn't seem to be working in practice>We could also simplify the layout a bit if we didn't want to use a grid>And sure, swapping it around could be fun if it goes quickly enough!

>>83640628Are you able to cast a protection spell on the scroll and then split the scroll case with something?
>>83640897I'm hesitant to cast anything on the scroll as I worry any sort of magic may degrade it. This thing is from the 14th century so it's quite old and brittle. The damn thing's been in the case so long it's like vacuum packed in there. Ugh.
>>83641030Ahh, yes that would be extremely fragile. It’s stuck to the sides of its case then? Is there a spell you can cast on the case itself to remove friction? Perhaps that would get the scroll unstuck?
>>83641094See prior problem. I'm just not risking it. I've been entrusted to scribe down this scroll of ancient lore made of Addax hide from Timbuktu or whatever they call that place now, but the damn thing's uncooperative and if I screw this up they'll probably smash my soul gems with a hammerIs it hot or cold that makes things expand? I know what you are thinking...the other night was stupid.">As for the Salazzle mentioning Hydrosnipe, that is on "Whaet" to elaborate upon
>>83641123Ah, ok, for some reason I was thinking casting it on the case wouldn’t affect the scroll too, but that’s rather silly in hindsightThat does sound like a task that requires absolute success. Quite the conundrum indeed. Hmm…Warm things expand, so heating the case could loosen the scroll. But would that damage the ink? You could probably do it, just need to be careful with how much heat and how long you apply it
>>83641261It might not, but it also might. And again, I don't wanna take that risk. I got no idea what its written with, probably blood or something. I'm gonna...Try and leave it in some sunlight around the bottom of the case and see how that works out.
>>83641310Mmh, yes better not risk itQuestion, could you not phase into the scroll, say your eyes, and read the scroll slowly that way to transcribe? Sorry if that’s a dumb idea, just throwing stuff out there
>>83641310you could always have it electronically scanned with, uh, the same kind of extremely expensive machines used to read the carbonized scrolls of Pompeii>>83624460 (You should do more)

I'll just have to ask around, then.">For the next few minutes, Lucy will continue to consume each meal offered to her without fanfare>There isn't much to it, at a single plate for each dish, but the taste is pretty good at least>Now, if only she could make her way to the kitchen somehow...>But for now, it was time to pay>Lucy stares some more as Tiffany drops another twig and a cool pebble>She has no idea what's going on with that, but she gets the feeling her trainer probably ends up with the real bill at some point"Um... We could fix my spot, yeah... And no, I have never seen a movie.">There's a small pause as Lucy considers the dizzying array of human things there is to do>Until, finally, she settles on something:"... I would like to get a hat. >>83641778Knowledge burners eh? Some of the truest bastards… Yeah probably for the best to get everything got of there just in case some twats get the idea again. Sounds like this transfer task has been going on for a while?Well regardless, I hope you can get the scroll out. I’ll try to think of other ideas in the meantime…>>83642251(Oooh definitely! Beryl and Doro have been a corruptive influence on Teleo. He’s still gotta find the opportunity to send the lewdy fox to fox jail himself)
>>83642251>Tiffany will definitely be asking some questions when she gets home, but for now, she continues enjoying eating>Lucy mentions a hat. Tiffany promptly throws her head back with exaggerated gumption"Like, chyeah we can! That's part of FASHION girl. And you, like, totally have the skin for it. Honestly, that's like, ninety percent of it right there. Skin and body type. And you toooootally have both.">The Espathra cranes her neck across the table as she intrudes on Lucy's personal space, gazing at her scalp"I was thinking, like, maybe a top hat? But that might be too stereotypical. Let's experiment and junk when we get there. And then? A movie. Oh my god girl, there are SO many movies. It is ridiculous what those Humans come up with.">Tiffany begins describing all of the different genres. You get the feeling she particularly likes romance related stuff, or musicals>This is a woman very much in touch with the feminine and boisterous side of things>With the meal concluded, the duo exit, with only minor difficulties for Lucy getting through the door once more>And so they set off for the boutique."This place is so fab, let me tell you. I'm, like, their most favorite person there. They looooove working with me.">Or so she claims>Soon they arrive>It looks very new-fashioned with minimalist architecture in dark pink>The front door looks...>Small>That could be a challenge(Not at all. There is more than one way to feed a softy)(As we shall see)>>83642461People burn shit because it destroys the past. And people who destroy the past deserve a swift ass kicking. It has. About fifteen years now. We've got nearly ten thousand scrolls in total but so far we're about halfway there. We haven't been able to save all of them though. It's a race to get them out, well and truly. And sometimes they crumble before we can transcribe them. It's ancient witchly and even planetary heritage. It's our PAST(Another converted to the dark side)
>>83634475(Whoops, I completely forgot about that)(Uhh in that case she probably would've said something like "we met once and then never again" or something)(She's not much more feral than she was with Floch, that is to say, pretty feral, because Floch wasn't exactly a model citizen to begin with)(The main difference is Sabrina has been encouraging her to prey on others rather than settle for berries. Lucy never really got to know anything else)>>83634514"Must be a well-kept secret, hehe.">She shrugs"You say that, but I do love watching people work up a sweat. It's just a little different now than it used to be.">As in, she loved watching others squirm and struggle, and now it's more about watching them put effort into things and surpass their own limits>But yeah, probably that"Well I don't intend to keep going if I miss Proxima of course, but getting turned around would be a problem. Most likely we'll need to set a trajectory to begin with, then eyeball it the rest of the way once we're close enough to actually see it. My eyes -are- pretty good, just gotta make sure I'm looking at the right star is all.">Indeed. She might just have to swallow a space center to get all of this coordinated, and finding an abandoned one is pretty unlikely>Perhaps lol(True!)>Also true!>Oh yeah, that too>The occasional mouth to feed is unlikely to put much of a dent in his budget nowadays>Well if Repose doesn't already have a seat, she'll plop him onto her lap!>>83634531>But if he'd rather focus on the door and the group, she'll let him do that instead"Reset, huh? That sucks. And yeah, I could see Doro doing great at these. Do you still get to fight champions?">She lets out a small chuckle"At last, everyone in the Eevee army gets to have a turn, huh? Hehe.">Oh really now>Even without Oceana, it's a good bet Sekhmet herself would've mentioned something about that in passing>They don't have to bring it up, but it's unlikely she'd be upset over it>Silly Taner
>>83629756I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Vikavolt in person. Sad.>>83634475I know, I know. All is forgiven.Heroic-type is a little lackluster, in hindsight. I’m willing to bet that it was significantly easier to come up with tangible, elemental-based Typings before coming up with the stranger ones. Fire, Water, Grass, etcetera. With those, it’s impossible to ignore how Fire-type pokemon are often on fire, Grass types are flowery, Water types spit out water, and all of that. Even if Ice Pokemon didn’t live in cold areas, it’d be pretty difficult to explain a Type that’s strong against both Flying and Ground without mentioning the words “cold, snow, icy”. I imagine Ghost type was deliberated on for some time, before maybe Psychic type. Oh, and Normal type. I wonder how long it took for people to come up with that. Or the differentiation between Rock/Ground.Hm. Do you stutter or stumble over your words often? I’d call those real-life typos. And, I also never do that. Probably because I speak at half the speed you do. It’s probably a little harder to tell if you haven’t consumed a Pokespeech potion, but it is true.>>83642251(They are not, they posted for maybe 3 days and disappeared as Froslass posters are wont to do)
>>83642634Very trueThat’s quite the staggering amount of knowledge. All witches assisting the transfer then? I wonder if one of them might have an idea on how to get your scroll unstuck, unless this is some faux pas(Poor Teleo struggles to say no)
>>83642461(Dohoho I see Beryl hasn't wasted any time with you)(I've yet to make significant progress in getting Dart to like boobies... One day maybe)>>83642634>Priorities>Lucy stares as the ostrich throws its head around like a flail"... I do?">And then she telescoped her head across the table over to her>At which point, Lucy blinks, twice"... I was thinking of getting a sun hat. To protect from the sun.">Very pragmatic and matter-of-factly, but there's gotta be a way to fashion it up for sure>Lucy then listens quietly to all those genres, none of which she's really familiar with, because she's unfamiliar with movies as a whole"Hmm.">And so, it was time to depart>She squeezes through the already bent doorframe from when she first came in, and sets off to follow after the Espathra"Do you go there often?">The Lucipede might normally snark someone like Tiffany for saying something like that, as it kinda sounds like BS, but this environment is so unfamiliar to her that... She rightfully has no earthly idea what is or isn't BS in this human-centric world>She just witnessed her pay for a meal with twigs and leaves, and that, she knows is definitely at least a little odd>And so they arrive>And indeed, the door is even smaller than the one from the taco place>Lucy looks at it, pokes it with a hoof, then scratches her featureless chin(s)"Hmmm... I don't think I can fit through there.">Not without some help anyway(Indeed)(Oh my)>>83642715(Aww, dang...)(Unfortunate)
Goodnight everyone!>>83636100That's why they'll have to exercise!>>83636725>Indeed, Zodiac’s armory isn’t very limiting>Everyone gets their weapon of choice, and then…>Star smiles at Doro’s idea“That is perfect. Introducing a variable that Taner has not accounted for will increase the pressure and widen the scope of the training.”>Willow gets his grenade launcher!>Fea says“I want a faaaancy pistol, golden gun, golden bullets, the works. Might as well do this in style, eh?”>Star give him it, but says“I do not think Taner will be able to notice.”>For herself…>Just a regular rifle will do, she decides>It is>Not using a grid sounds better, but… I’m also not quite sure how to do it without, I could gen an overhead map maybe and just mark where Taner is, but how would you specify where other things are? A grid would mean we could go “He’s at B9 moving to B10” and such>>83642715Thanks!Oh yeah, those three were probably much easier than any of the others. Flying probably wasn’t too hard, they all have wings.I feel like not enough time was spent on naming the Normal type. But that’s just me.Ground probably would have been Earth, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Ground and Rock were considered the same at first before people realized that they both had different interactions with other types, I don’t envy the people trying to figure out what the difference between those two were. And then they found out Steel was a thing muddling it up even more! I wonder, if we pointed a Pokedex at a Pokemon with a type that hasn’t been cataloged yet, if there still is one, what would happen?Uh, well, sometimes. So I guess I do have real life typos, but, typically for a reason. Unlike typos here which are just random.Oh. Some people have told me I can speak pretty fast sometimes, so I guess speaking slower than me isn't too strange. Star speaks slower than me too.
>>83641191>Not enough? Not enough air, probably>What can Taner do? Not much“We’re going to get you to the infirmary.”>Taner wants to say something like “Congrats, you won, or you would have, if you had waited another week or two to recover more!” but the Sneasler is already having a bad enough day>At this point, Taner just wants to see him breathing okay again>>83642705(Fair enough)>Star adds“Or more likely there simply is not a replicable way to achieve it.”>Taner looks disappointed at that, and goes on to answer Sekhmet instead>He did very much notice her wording… honestly, this is probably around the point where Taner would be affirming the change she’s made in his mind completely, before they even got to the restaurant“Well, you wouldn’t have to watch me for long for that, it hardly takes any time at all… Just as soon as I get used to one set of exercises, somehow Star finds another! And they can’t all be from the videos Lani sent. Where is she getting them all!”>Taner doesn’t sound that upset, more like fake upset>Star… doesn’t seem like she wants to say, outloud, “nobody’s eyes are good enough to get something like that right in space, it doesn’t matter how good your eyes are if the light reaching them has a hard limit” but maybe Sekhmet has some way to ‘mark’ the correct star?>Something to discuss later>She might have to swallow a space center, Star will have to find an evil space center, and that sounds a lot harder to find than an evil farm… maybe Team Galactic left something over?>Ironically Sam would probably know more about that>Repose gets plopped onto her lap!>He may be a wall in battle but he’s plenty soft to touch! He doesn’t say anything but he gives an “I’m okay with this” vibe>He can see the door from here, though how he’ll eat is another question>1/2
>>83642705“Yeah. Someone got to A, got their wish, and I guess that’s that? I thought, like, everyone who got to A would. >>83643016(Yes)>>83643018Yes, though I still feel “Air” would’ve been more appropriate. Since, Pokemon like Drifloon exist. Also, yes, probably not.Steel Pokemon are at least, very often metallic looking. So they have that going for them. Still a little strange, given that such refined metal doesn’t really occur naturally otherwise. I wonder if there’s some sort of force, similar to atoms in chemicals, that can turn one Type into another. I say this because, I am pondering the possibility of Steel type being an “evolved” version of Rock or Ground. Metal is a refined form of earthy materials, usually, but it also has its own unique weaknesses. Sort of like how an element on the periodic table changes what it is if you subtract or add a proton/neutron to its core. It becomes something else entirely, with wholly new properties. Back on your Pokédex hypothetical, though; I have no idea. Well, yes. Just, easy to compare text versus real life. I definitely speak a little slower than most. Our slight differences compound upon each other.>>83643094I don’t know, Beryl. It’s the Bug type curse. The same reason we have no Buh type legendaries, I’d imagine. A lot of these old civilizations were aware of things but didn't quite get it right. We'd probably know more if SOME FUCKING P E O P L Eahemif some people weren't so fanaticalI would not be surprised if they were the origin. Gold is a very important reagent. It's both malleable and resistant. Unfortunately that region is highly unstable, dangerous, and has already been looted by other empires centuries ago. It's a sad story. Anyway, gold is unique from other ingredients in that, used properly, it can be reused over and over again. It's resistant to magical consumption. Unfortunate so much was lost, that would have been very useful…Well drat, dreams of treasure hunting and dungeon delving gone! So it essentially acts as a reusable magical catalyst essentially? That does sound very useful. Do you typically only use a little bit for most spells, outside of rather large ones? >>83643593I agree. Let me look up something really quick…Okay, so, it was first named in Kanto and called what translates directly into “Aviation/Flight Type” which is… about the same, Air is still better. Fighting type is what translates directly into “Combat Type” which may actually be worse than Fighting type. Nearly every Pokemon I’ve met is a combat type. Also Dark type apparently translates directly to “Villainy” type over there. You already know my thoughts on that.I do think you are right about Steel types, and it does make sense. And nearly all of them actually do literally evolve from Rock or Ground types, don’t they? Though, most other materials don’t get a type like that, like, Porygon isn’t a “plastic type” and there isn’t a “wax type” for the ones made out of wax, though they are mostly ghosts so maybe that’s why. But Steel didn’t just form its own interaction with other types, but moves that had those same interactions, which is maybe the weirder part?I guess we should be glad Bug type didn’t get labeled “chintin type.”I always associated really fast moving Pokemon like you with also speaking fast, but I guess that’s not the case. I’m not sure even Lightspeed speaks too much faster than normal, so much as, maybe louder? I associate electric types with being louder now. I mean, they clearly had a lot of power over the city, which maybe is its own concern, but like you said, no way they had Jirachi nearby or anything. In the end, I guess the winner wished for the Z-A to continue, which, if they were the winner, was probably the smartest reasonable thing they could wish for since I bet they made, like, a LOT of money on winning so much. >>83655348Amateurs, I say. I take it back. We could have named them better. I think the word “steel” is still somewhat of a colloquialism when it comes to the Type, because metallic materials have already been observed as a part of Pokemon anatomy. Take, for example, Blastoise’s cannons. The physically “steel” properties already existed on Pokemon, but the Type borrows that namesake when unique battle interactions/traits are displayed. Or something like that. There is a species of deep sea snail that produces metal over its shell for protection, and it’s the only known animal on the planet to do such a thing. The incorporation of metal into natural biology may in fact be less magical/strange than we think. I do have somewhat of the same association, with Electric types. For the same reasons. But, no. What's in one day may be out the other>Tiffany promptly also answers her inquiry about Furfrou"Pretty tasty, but like, not a five star. More like three stars. There's lots of hair and junk, and depending on if they've put stuff in it, it can taste really fuzzy. But otherwise not bad. Oh, one more thing, we can't, like, eat any Pokemon in the store. They'll get SUPER pissed off and, like, beat the tar out of us and stuff.">In the present, Lucy is currently staring at the ceiling amidst the remnants of the shattered desk. Pieces of splintered wood litter the ground. There is a strange feeling in your backside>Ostrich feet scramble at the door as Tiffany attempts to free their head from in-between the two meat boulders that occupy your back half>With a loud pop she finally frees herself. Bug-eyed, she shakes the sweat out of her hair. Her head smells like Lucy now>She does not verbally acknowledge what just happened. In fact, she is going to actively not mention it ever again. Ever. The past minute or so of her life was skipped over entirely>Instead she helps Lucy right herself, a monumental task in and of itself. I remember Dr.Steele said something about what he would have named the type, uh, let me ask Star…Oh. “ferromagnetic energy type.” Yeah, that was never going to be something that’d happen. Steel is pretty understandable if that was one of the alternatives. That’s interesting, even after reading the book on animals that Kong gave me, I don’t think that one was in there. There are so many different types of animals… And they don’t even get types…Slow and steady is good! Sometimes I probably ought to slow down more, myself. Even after deciding what to say, taking an extra moment to think about it first can be pretty helpful. I know this, but I still don’t do it as often as I should.

No>But perhaps a little rumble can be felt, even if Umbreon are much more dog-like than cat-like, it seems there’s something there…“Yeah, exactly. I wonder what I’d have wished, in that case? I think it would have probably been something like, more rights for Pokemon, of course, but I wonder just how far they’d have let me go with something like that?”>Lighspeed, hearing his name, listens to the rest and agrees>”-Exactly-! Being fast -is- being sneaky!”>That’s not exactly what Sekhmet said…>Taner smiles very brightly at the lack of chains!>It’s a very literal, very observable consequence“That’s awesome!”>He seems about as happy as if hearing a friend just got freedom for the first time, which may be pretty close to what this is>Star asks>”If you do not mind me asking. How much of that is symbolic and how much of it is something which will have real-world impact? Beyond the obvious, less supernatural positive that is.">Star seems fine if she’d rather not answer>As for the other thing“That is reasonable. And we will continue to help after completing the most important aspects of course. I am sure Taner would not have it otherwise.”>She seems convinced that if Sekhmet is going to be around centuries still, she will absolutely have at least one if not more methods of immortality available before that point… Star is hopeful that perhaps the one she’s working on right now will be one of them>And then the meal arrives!“Wow! It smells so good…”

Everything in here is so much more.... >More. In general it's just more. The concept of high fashion may be a bit much for Lucy to take in. If she even gets it at all is another question entirely>Once you mention the hat, Tiffany pokes her head out from underneath a giant tartan shawl. Another one is jammed between her wings and draping off of her tail feathers"Like, luh-mow! I, like tooootally forgot! Here, follow me!">The Espathra walks at a frenzied pace, nimbly darting between several aisles and almost bowling over shoppers and their Pokemon alike>Lucy... probably needs to be a bit more careful>Eventually though, they arrive in the haberdashery section>Good lord look at the variety. Then of course there is the stuff that really only qualifies as hats for the abstract>And then, in the corner, in one small section, are the plain old sun hats>They're made of straw, silk, cotton, even plastic, but there's an immense variety. There are more hats here than Pokemon in the dex>Where to even begin?>Tiffany is using her psychic to lift several off the racks at a time, and is slowly cycling through them as she tries them on Lucy's head>>83665415(It's gross innit?)

Shame.Unless Kong gave you a book that was 1 million pages long, I doubt you’d have much reason to know about every single animal. I am speaking about the scaly-foot gastropod, you should look it up. Sekhmet is satisfied."Hah, yeah... It'd probably have gotten you something like "We'll try to pass a new bill in your name, it may fail though." or something along those lines. Still better than nothing I guess.">Then she lets out a small giggle at Lightspeed's interpretation of what she's said!"Hehe, I guess that's one way to see it, yeah.">Close enough anyway>Yeah!>Sekhmet just smiles in response, she nods>It sure is awesome>And then Star asked>Sekhmet does a sort of halfhearted shrug"Well, I certainly couldn't have removed those just like that, so...
