Post lewd reptiles and discuss scaly stuff, male or female is fine. Dragons, wyverns, dinosaurs, lizards, snakes, and reptile-folk such as kobolds and Argonians are welcome, on top of other things with scales like sharks as well. Anthros, ferals and human/scaly are allowed, but please, no monstergirls. As some may take a few creative liberties on their creations, do inquire if there's a particular edge case you're unsure about.==============>Lurking or just reading the FAQ before posting is encouraged.>Anatomy arguments never go anywhere, don't bother instigating one.>No extreme fetishes, please. condescending dragon women to start the thread right
>>83734296>snakes>not scalies as the tottSnakecentric propaganda.Yet again I cry for A Benevolent Evil Dragon's author. The mother and father being eldritch creations due to the way they can influence the development of the bodies to have redundant legs, arms, eyes and tentacles.Scalies should have as many limbs as possible, all the better to hug you with.
>tott2-6, with the caveat that the numbers are even and if the number is 6 they're all arms marilith style. On an unrelated note, clothing could feel like scraps of old skin so snakes should have an impulse to peel it off.
Does this snek feel closer to Tokitarou or Jamie? I may try to do an edit
>>83734296Two. The perfect amount of limbs needed to hold and eat a delicious hamburger.
>>83734380 (me)But then again, as a fan of the Snake Report and Kin of Jorm. I must say that limbless noodles are the perfect form of life and all else pales in comparison.>you will never be able to do morning stretches as good as snakes can because of limbs getting in the way.
>>83734296>How many limbs should snakes have?I have an alien snek race that has four arms and three eyes. They are relegated to pilots, engineers and long range infantry however.
I want to be a Tama!
>>83734428The former.Tokitarou has his parents yell at him and remind him of stuff.Jamie is a good Uni student and probably has alarms.
For being so tiny, Kobolds sure are humongous sluts
I can't believe I missed the stream of Tatb! I shouldn't have watched the NZ-BE game, fuck. I'm going to watch the vod now, and see how it played out (holy shit it's 2 hours long). But it looks like from some of the posts last thread>>83732763>>83733191Are some points to work on for now. In particular if there is now interest outside of the thread for playable builds I think I'll try and spend some time today setting up an itch page or something. That way I'm not directing a bunch of people here to the thread to get it. I just gave Ryukiri the archive link to the last build. Also from what it sounds in those posts like it went over pretty well and people seemed to have a generally positive opinion? I'll have to see what other points people bring up in the chat. That message is certainly a good sign
>>83734439>amount of limbs needed to hold and eat a delicious hamburger. That number is zero if magic exists.
0. I try to distinguish between snakes and nagas, even though I prefer the latter and tend to call them "sneks" anyway.
Birdo!
The heat brings the snakes out.
>>83734296TotT:Depends on the setting. If it's all about anthropomorphic animals that stay fairly close to their normal body shape it should be none. Utilise the tail. Magic works in fantasy settings, augmentations for sci-fi.Otherwise I prefer the naga type for serpentine species.Semi-related, I'm working on something. Do you think the Snek Scale needs more steps? Also maybe someone has a better name for Level 1b since technically all of them are anthropomorphic.
>>83734890>Do you think the Snek Scale needs more steps?I think there should be a 1b and 1.5b, where 1 is just snakemen (e6 has it tagged as legged_snake) with tail that hardly touches the ground like Zorayas, while 1.5 is snakemen with a proper long and prehensile tail like Crius and others.
>>83734890I'd say anthropomorph is fine. Outside of furry art, the term specifically means human-shaped, i.e. two arms and two legs. Also, I'd add a full monstergirl stage (normal human with superficial animal traits) right above normal human.
You wouldn't give a legless snake anthro legs. Else you're ruining the whole point of the creature!
>>83735181I meant to say legless lizard. Too much snek on the brain right now.
>>83735181Two legs is fine, four legs is not. Also no arms means no breasts.
Somebody in the previous thread asked for WoF fanfic with "full GoT tier violence" and the closest thing I could think of was The Last Animus (which is about a triple-moonborn Sunny raised by Thorn; https://archiveofourown.org/works/69055671). Wake Up and It's Over (https://archiveofourown.org/works/53395186) deals with the consequences of the violence Hope and Winter experience, and I prefer it's resolution to Arc 2 to the original
>>83735056Too bad it's another one on the worse side of the scale but you're right, they exist.>>83735055I'm not sure if that distinction is necessary. Anthro snake tail lengths are all over the place in general. It's not as good of a comparable criteria as headshape or limb configuration.I also added a theriocephalic level (animal-headed like classic depictions of Egyptian gods) and yuan-ti types as examples. Purebloods are even less snekish than kemonomimi. Not sure if I should add another level for them.Maybe I should make them all naked and add some colour to show which areas are covered in scales. But these figures are just placeholders anyway.
>>83735675If not friend then why friend shaped?
>>83735675Danger of love and cuddles you mean?
>>83735675>>83735848I think the danger level is the risk of medical injury from pelvic destruction.
Maybe this started as an attempt to cure cancer...Transformation from human to scalie probably should affect the mind since the new brain is quite different even if its capacity is upscaled for anthros.
>>83736078>cure cancer
>>83736103What if transforming into a dinosaur cures your cancer?
>>83736151That's just a happy accident then.If true, surely it's a moral imperative to turn people into dinos even against their will.
>>83736187Curious how people who don't want to be turned into dinos end up enjoying it.
Dinos don't have to pay taxes.
>>83736424But without taxes who will pay for the roads?
>>83736151To be fair, cancer tends to leave scarring on bones and depletes bone density by killing marrow, and we've never found a dinosaur skeleton that showed any symptoms of cancer. They could very well have been like sharks, who seem to be outright immune to cancer, and thus transforming a human into as dinosaur through whatever means probably could be a cure of sorts.
>>83736495Who needs roads with legs like those.
slap a raptor on the haunch
>>83734311That reminds me a bit of Landerwaffe. Shame there's only, like, two pictures of her in existence, and both are anthroshit, meaning they completely lose that theropod-like stance.
>>83736660She's got great haunches for a synthetic cyborg clone thing.
>>83736516Sharks are not outright immune to cancer but they do seem to get it less (shark cartilage will not cure your cancer btw)
