LoRA's can get away with a few dozen, but you need to curate your dataset properly and then set the training properly to have the right result. LoRA's are basically model plug-ins, you give the model data about concepts it doesn't know. Thing is most people who train LoRA's don't know what they're doing so they tend to end up overbaked, heavily influencing the style no matter how low you set the strength, and other issues like that. Maybe I could learn how to do it properly given I have a decent enough GPU for training trial and error.
