I like the idea of some species just being inherently vunerable to WG and modern processed foods. We dicussed a more psychological aspect of that with the Plus Sized Elf cast last time(how if it wasn't for the main character most of the cast would be uncontrollably ballooning and if it wasn't for the portal weight limit they'd bring their bad habits back home with them), but you could also go more biological.Like look at Undyne in this sequence. Sure, she's speeding it up a bit after giving in to gluttony and feederism(maybe monsters are more predisposed to that), but even before that she was inflating like dough and Alphys and Toriel get morbidly obese on their own in the same time span, in another two months they'll look like Undyne. Imagine going up multi dress sized daily because human food hits you that damn hard, and not being able to stop yourself. Even if she isn't into feederism you could probably watch her visibly put on a few pounds after meals.Hell, to give a third example, someone last year suggested a concept of sentient catgirls, very outgoing and active, but if for whatever reason they overeat one day too many or get cooped up and lazy for one too many days they undergo a massive and rapid psychological shift into fat and lazy house cat mentality.Maybe some species are just inherently really likely to develop feedee and food addiction once given the option to gorge.
