>>83866154 That’s wayyyyy too many sets and reps. Try just 2 Sets/workout. Go for 8 heavy reps in set one, and 16 Reps for the second; same weights. If you cant complete 16 with that weight, drop the weight; and finish the remaining reps.You can do warmup sets prior to the heavy set, just 50-65% of the working set, for about the same reps of 8 reps. And ofc, lighten the weight by alot, when starting this. And do overload progress of lifting 5lbs heavier each workout muscle splits. Lets you get the form down, and lifting easier, when you get heavier. Another thing to note: rest time. You can get away with 1 minute of rest between sets, if its isolation machine work (leg extension, for example). If its the main compound lifts, pretty much the free weights (barbell and dumbbell), rest a minimum of 2 minutes between those sets, and 4 minutes maximum. Lets you catch a breather better, if using freeweights. Might have to check on diet as well; or nutritional deficiencies (getting multivitamin helps), Having creatine and preworkout (non caffeinated version exist) to make the workout go easier, up the carbs and protein to be satiated, and keep down a caloric deficit (IF YOU HAVE FAT TO CUT FIRST). You can recomp, and up your strength w/o needing to go balls deep in a unmeasured bulk. Even when it comes to the time of building up mass, it would need to be a measure bulk via the assistance of a nutritionist. Generally, that would need to be 0.25lbs/week of mass gained, to be a “lean bulk”.

Overall most of Chronicles of Darkness and World of Darkness are pretty good (up to 5th edition at least but if your new you won't know what's been lost). Go into /tg/ if you want a better run down they have generals dedicated to the settings but mostly focused around the vamp/ werewolf/ mage side as they are the most popular.
