>>83940322neat also why was there a guitar at the end
so I've been thinking about the resemblances between Deltarune and Mother since hearing about the Bread Glitch, and I find myself wondering about where the resemblances end because in terms of the party and it's potential members, I find myself likening Pippi, the girl you meet at the start, and is meant to be a very temporary party member to Susie.Ana and Loid feel like Noelle and Ralsei, and Teddy is an older character who has the same stats as Pippi, which is to say, they're both physically offensive powerhouses, but Teddy's capable of equipping a Katana as his strongest weapons, and in some storylines, I've heard he might die? he also supposedly replaces Loid when he's in the party.so this almost feels like Deltarune, the game we're playing involves a manipulated copy where the party has become Ninten, Pippi and Loid, Ana's been sidelined, and Teddy's potentially the fucking Knight, unless Carol's joining our party in Chapter 6 or something.

>>83940918>>83940924this speech reminds of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo0DIKVb7FM
I don't use AI stuff at all and don't even know how to go about setting it up, nor do I really care. My experience with people who post that stuff is extremely negative however since they basically killed the waifwolf general.
>>83940855My head-canon, ever since finishing the chapter, is the plantners base themselves off nearby digital/physical media (flowery was a mix between asgores tv and an anime book resting on it, yellow was the cowboy from the tv show boxset he was watching in chapter 2, I'm assuming aqua was from a photo of younger kris) so Cacty, the closest book to them that mysteriously didn't manifest as a darkner, that was also pointed out for this detail for seemingly no reason, was the “how to draw dragons” with the risqué purple dragon on the cover, so if cacty looks like anything, in my mind at least, its a scantily clad spiky purple dragon
>>83940961Kriselle is literally part of the original plotline of the game, the evidence for it is everywhere as of chapter 5, it's the way the story is 'supposed to go', which means there's some consequence supposedly tied to it that terrifies Ralsei, just wish he'd actually fucking tell us what it was.all I know is, trying to avoid it is making everyone miserable around them, a big part of Chapter 5 was a theme in lies, strangely, Flowery's entire fraudulent persona was like a living callout post to Ralsei, and that's why the goat was seething all chapter.
>>83940581>>83940671>>83940705NTA who posted that crap to begin with, btw. But holy damn does this place gets ticked up by the slightest thing.
>>83941077Go try posting some of that in /sus/ and then be annoying about it for a while, they'll love it too. I promise.
>>83941047I agree although whatever the "original" plotline of the game even is has been quite unexplored in the 71% of the deltarune runtime we've already experienced. I think the game left it fairly clear since ch1, and more so since then, that susie is the story's interloper, although there are other things like the vessel grey herring and gaste being the goat that keep a lot of the mystery goingI guess UT also had most of the meta and loredrops basically right before the end, so I should've expected DR to do the same. fucking asgore vagueposting ass, you were cringe but I liked you!! Can't say the same for rals
>>83939988this is the night where carol recruited kris into the roaring plan
>>83941037I would go in the other direction, and say the Flowers based their idea on 'what a human is' based on the shows that Asgore was watching, now why they wanted to be human specifically? that's up in the air, but it was their goal for some reason.Green feels like a Muppet/Swedish ChefOrange is abso-fucking-lutely a Pokemon/monster character like DigimonFlowery and Aqua are anime as fuckBlue feels like a fucking Steven Universe character.Yellow is, as described, from the cowboy showand Seth is... apparently a direct reference to the character from the same name from Illusion of Gaia, which might suggest this is how Seth gained a fascination with Berdly, and an assosciation with the color purple with 'Seth', as it may be a game Seth witnessed Berdly and Kris playing at Flower King when they were younger, because Berdly is, technically one of Kris' oldest friends, we just don't really see that properly explored here.given Noelle's cactus is named after Kris, it's hard to imagine it won't resemble Kris in the eventual Holiday Household Dark World, so as a result, I can't help but feel Kris' cactus will be 'the equivalent', especially with all the talk of the cactus and love towards and from Kris in Chapter 3.
>>83941149I guess reading comprehension isn't this site's forte, cause my point is that I don't even like AI art to begin with (nor have I ever posted that)--but that the people who complain about it are way more annoying.(I also don't give a crap about /sus/ cause I don't like Susie)
>>83941196>the Krismas cactus is finally how we get to know about kris as a personwould be wack
You know for a deltarune kris noelle shipping thread people sure like to bring up the among us sus thread alot out of nowhere
>>83941153I expect chapter 6 to potentially act like a massive 'timeline correction' because Susie's about the fuck everything up as of the end of Chapter 5, and Noelle has highly suggested she was contemplating '''leaving''' before she received the news of her father's 'state', and if Susie reveals a truth that breaks Noelle's heart, Kris is going to be the only one who can help her, forced into a position where it's either 'reveal your feelings' or 'lose Noelle forever', I think we all know what Kris will pick.Susie and Noelle are operating like a reverse of Undyne and Alphys, the lies coming out will break them apart.
>>83941255/sus/ was doing nothing but whining about /doe/ for like an hour way earlier today.
>>83941196Itd be a really cool secret boss to mirror match krismas the cactus
>the angel's just the ch6 secret boss (based off the wings)how cringe woukd that ve
>>83941263I don't think that lies will cause the break up. Noelle will learn about the dark world and will create one to keep her father alive, and her and the gang will have a conflict of keeping the fountain open and risking roaring or closing it and potentially killing Rudy.
>>83941278Make lov not war
>>83941196>given Noelle's cactus is named after Kris, it's hard to imagine it won't resemble Kris in the eventual Holiday Household Dark WorldI'm fully confident on the idea of darkners patterned after the DANK gang, that will be our first taste of what Dess was like.
>>83940872Happy for you, or happy for me?
>>83941263"we all know what Kris will pick" is funny to hear when I'd but lost all hope in the boy, but I admire your optimism. Yeah, I've seen allusions/theories that a lot of ch5 seems off character for the fun gang, and flowery ragebaiting ralsei on his grand strategy of being a pathetic femboy that can't change anythingI guess it's hard to separate it from the meta elements of Toby loving his yurislop, and we as players won't get to play the "original game" backstage like we were supposed to. Still, we've gotten kriselle bits every chapter, I'm hoping for something big and bittersweet at some point
>>83941255amogus Noelle when
>>83941339It will be Seam. He said that he knows how to do something very interesting with the crystals. And what is more interesting for a player than a boss fight?
>>83941196>now why they wanted to be human specifically? that's up in the air, but it was their goal for some reason.Given Toriel's concerns about raising a human (the library book) and Kris' own insecurities about being a human raised in a monster family in an otherwise monster-only town (the headband) I'd imagine Asgore himself while talking to the flowers expressed a strong regret that Kris couldn't have grown up with other humans to be friends with, so know that there was nothing wrong with being human and they loved him regardless.
>>83941345gonna be honest, I think Rudy's already dead, because there's nothing properly set up to say a Hospital Dark World will be any good.that and reverse undertale routing suggests a chapter based on Snowdin should have been Chapter 5, but then Toby decided to pull a fast one and made a chapter based on 'True Pacifist ending+ post-launch content of Undertale' for some reason.
>>83941381After the very hungry caterpillar probably
>>83941359Happy for everyone... if only for a short, fleeting moment
>>83941426>there's nothing properly set up to say a Hospital Dark World will be any good.I don't think there's enough in there for a full dark world throughout the entire chapter, but the hospital has more than enough to make a big impact over a small amount of time. The bead rails, the angel dolls, the flowers, optional Berdly if he's still hurt, and Schrodinger's Rudy not knowing if he's alive or dead until the fountain is sealed. I can see chapter 6 having multiple dark worlds in different locations, with one being the hospital and the other being a True Lab-esque area somewhere else where we finally start getting answers on the game's mysteries.
>>83941263>Kris is going to be the only one who can help her, forced into a position where it's either 'reveal your feelings' or 'lose Noelle forever', I think we all know what Kris will pick. Are you absolutely certain that we know what Kris would pick in that situation? Because I do think there's an option that's more likely than the other, but I don't think you would agree with my choice.
>>83941529Also if carol isn't the knight, the holiday household would be guaranteed to be her dungeon
>>83941426>Hospital Dark World will be any good.Could be a True lab parallel. Rudy wouldn't be the first person to die in a hospital, and since monsters turn to dust when they die, and dust has tendency to get stuck and collect in cracks it creates great potential for truly fucked up enemies
>>83941551Even if she is the Knight, it would be her dungeon. She keeps everything important there, after all.I can actually see the Shelter being the True Lab equivalent, in the sense that there is where we learn everything that happened in the past and maybe beat up another Titan, while the Holiday house is the actual chapter 7 final dungeon to stop Carol and/or the Knight and/or whoever else from doing something stupid in the present.
And when I leave this world behind - LOVE is always on your side.
hey /doe/ important question I know this is out of pocket but would dark world sex result in babies? would they be darkners (no rights) or lightners?
>>83941841What do you think the Titan Spawn are?
>>83941841Presumably any direct physical actions performed by lightners to other lightners in a dark world translate completely unfettered to the light world unless you're on some retarded psychotic bullshit where you believe that the lightners in dark worlds are just disembodied representations and not their physical selves (this can't be true).
>>83940823She slimes Kris before they can even hook up the IV
>>83941841why is Kris looking at us like that
>>83941882hit the slay button and watch the number go up critters, but I guess I never questioned why that stat was right beside the loads put in deer counter...
>>83941234>>83939988>Carol becomes impatient after Rudy dies, [YOU] are gonna fix everything single problem right now starting with the wretched human
>>83942010Why are you staring? and expect nought but a glance back?>>83941925That's fair, it just doesn't seem quite 1:1 if we go by Berdly's example. Darkner's physical objects are also affected by their DW injuries
>>83941882All of Dess’ abortions.
>>83942067>it just doesn't seem quite 1:1The battle system is a layer in between. All of the weapons and spells are essentially fake. If someone brought a real weapon into a dark world and used it on people, you might see horrific results.
>>83939674
>>83941841Body fluids seem to remain as it is in the Dark World, so lightner x lightner sex on dark world would just result in a lightner offspring.Darkners are more speculative in nature. I don't think a darkner can create another darkner since that would requiere a new object to be made, darkners are objects that just manifest with established backgrounds and relations to other objects (ex: king is lancer's dad)Can a lightner and a darkner have sex? Probably, but I doubt it could create offsprings.
>>83941529>I don't think there's enough in there for a full dark world throughout the entire chapterNta, but definitely not. Maybe there's enough for a dungeon sized dark world, but not enough for a main sized one. Maybe if the dark world extends to the whole hospital, but that feels iffy.Well, I think the best "full sized" dark world location would be the Holiday Manor. There are plenty of items to use as darkners there. That, or we have a multitude of smaller dark worlds dotted around Hometown. On another somewhat unrelated note; do we have an idea of where the last code might be? We have two(ish) codes- the Pine tree(122(partially. Plus, I admit that I'm assuming here in thinking that the pine tree represents either the Holiday manor or Dess)) and the police badge(0915199X (Again, I'm assuming that the badge is referring to Asgore's time as the police chief.))The last symbol (The Delta Rune) to me sorta indicates the church, but I highly doubt that Toby would rehash that dark world again. (Plus, I doubt that we'd be able to get anywhere near the inside after the interior was discovered to be trashed to hell and back.)
>>83942234>If someone brought a real weapon into a dark world and used it on people, you might see horrific results.
>>83942531I wonder why the knife stays a knife in the dark worlds, have we seen many other items like that
>>83940581The return of that dreaded striped bang that I'm find of. I'm always happy to see it crop back up as a little callback to your older iterations for her. But at least she respects the dead, and would never do anything to secure illicit specimens for her futureproofing. How can anyone hate that face? She loves you for what's on the inside.
>>83939674something quick for tonight, a soff nole
>>83942776pregdoe? kris gets to hold that....
>>83942558The Shadow Crystals (under a different name) and the Eggs stay the same. Interestingly, I don't think the Black Shard does. In the Light World it's described as a small chip, but in the Dark World it's described as "dagger-like". They aren't mutually exclusive descriptions, but they're different enough to make me think they are different shapes, if the same material.
>>83942558Kris mentally associates it as a weapon, but intentionally keeps it out of his pockets so it doesn't become an inventory item.
>>83939674Hey Hey.Delivering the attached request from the prior night.Lettuce bee gin.>They weren't quite sure when this pitiful little ritual began.>But it had rapidly gotten out of hand.>Kris lay on their side in their bed. Back facing the rest of the room, their body curled around what they held in their clutch, as though protective of it.>Their bedroom was dark. The sun had set some time ago over Hometown, and Toriel had since retired for the night.>If Asriel were still here, he'd no doubt be filling the room with the glare of his computer monitor and all the noises that accompanied it. But he was gone, and Kris was alone.>Alone in the dark, their form illuminated softly by the glow of a tiny screen.>A cellphone.>But not their usual one.>A different one.>One that belonged to them, but didn't hold their name. Their eyes returned to the faded, green hue of the phone, several models out of date. >They took a deep breath.>Slowly, hesitantly, their keyed in an all-too-familiar combination of digits.>Every little entry caused a soft beep. Every chime caused them to softly flinch.>Finally, the code lay complete upon the screen.>All they had to do was press call.>All they had to do was . . .>Proceed.> . . .>The soft trill of the dial tone hummed to them as Kris nestled the phone against their ear.>They crammed their other against the fabric of the pillow, deafening them to all else but what noise passed from the phone.>They knew well by now that the call would ring three times.>She always answered before the fourth could begin.>Tonight was no different.>But a second after the third chime finished, the static of the call suddenly shifted; there was the faint clatter of something moving on the other end of the line.>"...Hello! >>83942909>Her voice sent a spiral of warmth coiling through their chest. The proximity of it, so close and clear against their ear. Their cheeks felt hot, something made worse by the embarrassment of what they were doing.>The shame of what made this such a stupid, stupid act.>Kris said nothing.> . . .>"U-Uhm, who--Ah, who is this?" Noelle stammered, softer now, to the silence that greeted her. "Wrong number, maybe?">Kris said nothing.>There was a rustle again. Noelle must've been shifting the phone around.>"...Oh, it's..It's you again.">This was not the first time Kris had done this.>It may well be the last, potentially. But it wasn't the first. You don't gotta feel embarrassed! I could, uh, help you, maybe.">Of course she would. It was so like her to reach out to a complete stranger. To some random freak who kept dialing her at night.>She was too good for this town.>She was too good for Kris.>Kris's hands tightened around the shell of the phone.>And Kris said nothing.>Verbally at least.>Because, silently, so silently, they began the second part of their shameful little ritual.>Their lips moved without going voice to a single syllable.>They mouthed the words.I miss you.>That was what they wanted to say, and they did not.>"...Sorry if that, uhm...O-Offended you," Noelle murmured. Kris heard her swallow quietly. "Y-Y'know, uhm. My mom kinda, wants me to block this number. Said that, uh...I should tell the Police if you called again. 'Cause she's scared, I guess."Please block it. Please give me an excuse to stop.>Kris spoke nothing.>"But, well...No one else, really calls me at night, anymore. Except you, I guess. She goes quiet for a moment.>"Uhm. Hey. Mystery caller? Sounds better than axe-murderer, doesn't it, faha. So...How about, uh. How about a deal?">"If you're someone from school, let's meet after class, okay? Maybe, uh...Maybe by the front steps.">"'Cause if this has been a prank of some kind, I'll totally laugh with you about it. Promise!">A prank.>Kris breathed in sharply at that.>Did she know?>How could she have known? Was it that obvious?>How long had she known?>"--I--">Kris's eyes went wide; they slammed a hand over their mouth.>Because Kris, on reflex, accidentally spoke.>They heard Noelle make some sort of soft noise on the other end.>Some sort of quiet inhalation.>Perhaps of realization.>"...What--">Noelle was cut off as Kris slammed the phone case shut, terminating the call.>They tossed the phone out of their grasp, sending the burner flopping some feet away across the bedsheets, like it was some venomous thing that had struck the human.>Their heart felt as though it might beat out of their chest. Shush, that was beautiful. And painful. So much of both. What sort of cruel fate would divide these two poor souls...

>>83942955>>83942973you have an uncanny talent for leaving my eyes watery, first with that wicked emotional hurdle and beatdown from Dess and now the turmoil of being so close, yet so far from the only one that could heal the scars of time.
>>83943428imagine noel in rut absolutely obsessed with kris's girly scent haha wouldn't that be crazy
>>83943096>Kris still muttering that all they did was hold hands, how did she even, etc.this is what happens when you give Toriel the final say on your Biology curriculum
>>83943687Take everything listed on this image and apply it only to Nole, then factor in how Kris would even respond after realizing her friend has been acting differently, being more touchy, terse and standoffish to the other students. One night on around the third or fourth day, alone in her room, she does a little reading on Monster reindeer biology and it turns into a two-hour downward spiral on estrus, Monster-Human psychological boundaries, history, nonfictional accounts which culminates in depraved fanfiction skimmed along line by line with shaky, sticky fingers.
>closing her eyes, noerre proceeds>as the nose of her Yokozuka MXY-7 Ohka rocket-powered monster-guided aircraft dipped, the plane's velocity started to climb>through the airframe, noerre could hear the rattling drone of the immense airflow surrounding her craft>any second now, noerre horryday would reclaim her family's honor>three years prior, her late father, rudy horryday, made himself a disgrace to his entire family when he deserted from his flight squadron in his Mitsubishi G4M medium bomber>noerre wanted to meet a pretty hokkaido boy, but alas, rudy made his decision, and now noerre was stuck righting history's wrongs>her sister, december horryday, had been taken captive by human coalition dogs>shortly after noerre joined the imperial navy, her mother, caror, had committed suicide>left with no one to mourn her, and with a family name scorned in the history books, she really had no choice, did she

>>83943789>that purple dinosaur bastard Sully cracks a single joke in the hallway that makes Kris laugh>Noel, deadpan, walks over to Sully and punches him in the gut

>>83944066I hate Snowcoomers so badly. I hate diminishing these characters to self-insert fodder. I hate not owing them the nuance they're deserved. But I would so, so... so let him have his way with me. I wouldn't dare resist.
If the roles of the Kriselle-estrangement situation (kris working secretly in the dark and pushing noelle away to protect her) was swapped, would Noelle be able to do what Kris has done so far?
