Polish, quality, and consistency is paramount, and as close perfection as humans can achieve. We should strive to be digital artists because it’s still 100% human-made unlike AI, but without all the inconsistencies and imperfections that come with trashditional art. People that cling to traditional are either conservative losers that don’t want to embrace new technology, stupid, or poor and can’t afford to (in which case, they shouldn’t be drawing). AI is soulless because it requires absolutely zero human input whatsoever, so comparing digital art to it is laughable.

Both digital and traditional work have their merits, and more people who draw traditionally often never end up finishing their work, let alone give their pieces full fledged backgrounds, it takes a strong will to push for that due to how easy it is to mess up a piece. the argument is moot and the people who try to push it either can't draw themselves or gave up on digital art because its too hard (somehow), and are just coping. If traditional art is so much better, why shit on Cardlin? His art being mostly traditional should make it automatically good, riiiiiight? Huh chuddie? Get better material. Also stupid shit like this is what makes artists not want to talk here openly, amongst other things. Both traditional and digital.
