It happens when you're a variety of space bovid. Those Broadside battlesuits must have good AC if they keep their pilots from taking an impromptu explosive vacation on jungle worlds. But those are just the Fire caste. Diplomats would have an even tougher time not embarrassing themselves in front of a court or gathering should rhey find themselves swelling due to a bad meal, arousal or just plain old hot weather.

My mistake, it was actually Resistance 3 with the Mutator gun. Turns enemies into cyst-covered living bombs that explode on proximity.

Kind of cheating but Mind-Control darts have the affected enemy explode when you release control over them.
