I've made style loras that had like 20 images of an OC in them and they ended up doubling as a lora for that character as well as the artist's style. Tag some nuisance elements like backgrounds and the like if you want but honestly it doesn't matter that much.

>>84107991There's nothing inherently wrong with using generated images to train a LoRA on, so yes, it could help. But quality > quantity. 20 or 30 good images of the character is enough to train on. You don't need hundreds of images. You can get solid results by just using default trainer settings with literally zero captioning except the activation trigger. Not to say that you shouldn't tweak things, but the gains are mostly marginal. Prodigy with LR 1 (or AdamW8bit with 0.0005 LR if you're short on VRAM), cosine scheduler, Dim 32 / Alpha 16, and either minimal manual captioning or an autotagger will get you 90% of the way there.
