Sauron was known to regularly eat his followers, Talon only wanted to keep humanity from going extinct so he could use them as cattle, and Armadon didn't give a fuck about humanity or the conflict and was just pummeling everyone on both sides to get them to shut up so he could go back to sleep. Blizzard was the only truly benevolent character in the game - but only because he had a god complex.
