My only gripe is the fanon last name, "Winter" makes no sense. Everyone who headcanons her as an arctic when she's clearly a corsac, kit, swift, or red fox with a cream colour morph looks so silly.

Arctic foxes only have white fur when they have their winter coats. They also have black on their paws and ears, as well as their ears being quite small. They are brown during the summer.

The other foxes I named are all cream coloured (as Skye is) year round. It feels like anyone who headcanons her as arctic doesn't seem to know any other species or colours morphs exist of foxes, and also shows their ignorance about arctics themselves.

Anyway, sorry for my rant. Very nice art.

They claimed that since Jack and Skye are not in the official movie, they are their OCs, and therefore nobody that respects them should draw them without their permission. This of course resulted in a lot of back and forth between them and a lot of fellow artists which ended up with them completely deleting all their Zootopia work and leaving the fandom

I don't necessarily "like it", in that I am a fan. It's definitely bizarre but the first one was such a ridiculous premise I had to read it. Part of me enjoyed the "their child would be a freak of nature" aspect, but no matter what the storyline, I don't think they can reproduce, period, so it was more like I was looking at his comics like how one looks on toward a car wreck. You can't look away. The art is technically impressive, though looks suspiciously traced in some parts.

It was making the fandom so angry at the time, I had to see why everyone was so upset. I didn't take it too seriously and it was pretty entertaining. It became funnier the longer it went on. I enjoyed the anti-WildeHopps aspect to it, liked watching fans meltdown in the post comments, things like that. It baffled me why everyone didn't just stop looking at his shit. So he kept uploading.

Of course you wouldn't, because as with all other WildeHopps hybrid supporters, you guys aren't thinking about the wider issue with hybrids. All you care about is your ship happening and them reproducing because that's what straight couples usually do, however, you are not considering the consequences to the world building and universe a hybrid would have. It ruins the entire franchise's established lore, which is that these animals are analogue in biology to their real-world counterparts, and therefore cannot, and SHOULD NOT ever be shown being capable of breeding with any individual outside of the same scientific family bare minimum. That means no fox x rabbit hybrids, but a rabbit x pika would be acceptable.

If they broke this crucial world building rule it ruins the whole universe. It would have larger implications which just make the whole thing crumble in retardation from the ground up. It would imply stupid hybrids should be walking freely about, messing up the whole population until no "real" animals even exist.

Even between hybrids which are possible in real life (like lion x tiger) many are often sterile.

Even if I was a WildeHopps shipper, I would still be vehemently against hybrids.

I have mentioned before I enjoy BoltxMittens but I don't believe for a second they can hybridize, nor would I want them to. This isn't like Shrek with fantasy making the universe, Zootopia is trying to adhere to a logical world setting.

Look, not to hop on the WildeHopps defense bandwagon (because that's not what I'm doing) but this is a world where animals started evolving and all walk and talk at the same level of intellect despite differences in brain sizes. The writers can do whatever they want, regardless of what anyone thinks is illogical when running parallel to the real world. The introduction of reptiles as a second class citizen because of a single murder and no references to them until the sequel tells us that the writers just do whatever fits the vibes they want to go for. If they want to make a hybrid baby as a way to show what it's like to be a kid of mixed race/heritage, needing to deal with their own forms of microaggressions and regular racism, they will absolutely do that. Logic has no place as an argument in a children's cartoon movie

The rest of your sentence is using Tumblrism bullshit words that are made up by people who want to feel like victims, but aside from this, you could do this very same story with two creatures which are sexually compatible and it would work just fine. Lion/Tiger for example. Ligers are abnormally larger than either parent species which would make it a good candidate for a story like this.
