Its typical modern AAA game dev's, that one game type catches fire and then 2 years later after people are already kinda wavering on it you get piles of them all at once. If the gameplay is there i think it will be good if the pve is solid and engaging. I do believe that people are a little burned out on pvp in eeeeverything, i remember that dune survival game phasing it out of the endgame cause so many people were frustrated with it. You can kinda see it with how Ark Raiders developed over time. You had a bunch of people not even engage with the pvp in time when it was also a core aspect at launch. Heck warframe is a pve extraction like shooter (Although not perfectly fit into that) and its doing great.
