>>84229497Honestly, up until Dess disappeared, I think Carol did a fine job in raising Noelle.A lot of people forget that the Carol we see in game is the result of a multitude of factors, between her responsibility to the town, worrying about her ailing husband, and having to care for her remaining daughter, all the while spending an inordinate amount of time conducting The Plan and having to adjust it on the fly, all in the slim hope of bringing Dess back, it's a miracle she hasn't cracked yet.I think she used to be a stern, but kind and caring mother who simply expected great things from both of her children, but may have inadvertently pushed Dess away as a result, and is unknowingly doing the same to Noelle, with the sole caveat being Noelle didn't have Dess's backbone to push back against Carol's parenting quirks.

The texture is unique, but not unpleasant, and somewhat like butterier marbling. Doesn't trigger my gag reflex and when cooked with eggs (or bacon) it absorbs the flavor fully with no secondary hints or aftertaste. I'm on my second year of cooking annually and I can already prepare the dish like my grandmother. They also cook fast but burn easily. Probably not for the faint of heart if I'm being honest.
