Is it enough for a non furry game to have a mod that makes the player model an anthro character, or do you guys need the game to be built with the furbait in mind?Not what you prefer, just what satisfies the desire to play furry games.

For something with little in the way of dialogue, it'll work nicely, but for something like a story-heavy RPG with lots of talk, it'll be a bit odd if nobody ever addresses the elephant in the room that you're the only anthro character around. Or if the mod anthrofies everything, nobody ever brings up anything species-specific and/or keeps referring to everyone as humans/elves/dwarves. Kinda immersion breaking in both cases.

Not quite so simple in a voice-acted game, though I suppose AI editing of the voice lines might be able to solve some of the issue. Still, that'd mean redoing the lines AND making sure the changed lines play correctly and where they should, and that's gonna be a lot of extra work.
