Hey /birb/, how have you been? Happy decidueye day!I noticed a thread was made the next day the previous one died, which didn't last long. Rip.Here are the latest story updates, in case you missed any one:>Evening After (short family slice of life story featuring a bald eagle)https://archiveofourown.org/works/88015451>The Frost on her Feathers (Ch. 33)https://archiveofourown.org/works/54569053A few short /hmofa/ greentexts were added too:>Circus Birdhttps://archiveofourown.org/works/72698186/chapters/189355866>Peahen in the Libraryhttps://archiveofourown.org/works/72698186/chapters/189506706
BotT (Birds of the Thread) #4, from top to bottom:Northern Beardless-Tyrannulet (https://ebird.org/species/nobtyr)>Tiny flycatcher found in Mexico and Central America. In the U.S. restricted to riparian woodland with dense understory and mesquite in the Southwest. Plain gray overall with inconspicuous pale wingbars and pale yellowish belly. Peaked bushy crown. Similar to Empidonax flycatchers but note bushy crest, blunter bill, and less obvious wingbars. Generally quite active. Often detected by song: a series of descending plaintive whistles "dee dee dee dee."Ashy-headed Green-Pigeon (https://ebird.org/species/pomgrp5)>The silvery-gray crown of this green pigeon is diagnostic, but can be difficult to see when the bird perches high in the canopy. Adult male is green with an orange chest, dark cinnamon shoulders, and a bright orange patch under the tail. Female is more predominantly green without any orange. Both sexes have the silver crown, black wing tips, and intricate yellow markings on the flight feathers. Gives rather high-pitched whistling coos, generally to the rhythm of “wa-whee-wah-woo”. Strongly favors lowland forests; rare to locally uncommon in foothills.Dark-breasted Rosefinch (https://ebird.org/species/dabros1)>Dark medium-sized rosefinch. Male is is dark pink with a lighter throat and eyebrow. Female is dark brown with light wingbars. Both sexes can be similar to Vinaceous Rosefinch, but note male’s different head pattern and female’s unstreaked underparts and noticeable wingbars. Forages on the ground in montane and hill forest, forest edge, and rocky meadows and slopes. Gives a wheezy sparrow-like “wheer.”
Hello, birbs.
Howdy /birb/! I did a new drawing of Valeria, and I'm almost finished with a new chapter of Songbird! It should be up next week. Once I finish my Mabel Week drawing, I want to do another franchise bird fanart. I was thinking of drawing another Martlet, but I don't have any great ideas at the moment. Any suggestions? Or maybe alternate characters to try?
>>84286728Damn, good stuff. Love strong female eagles!Looking forward for the new Songbird chapter!>I was thinking of drawing another Martlet, but I don't have any great ideas at the moment. Any suggestions? Or maybe alternate characters to try?For Martlet, maybe another Zenith Martlet drawing? I like when artists depict her as a big, strong monster, but depth inside, she's still the same clumsy Martlet from ever.If you want to draw other characters, maybe try Ivy from Swapped or Pam Mallard from Migration? They're both feral, but there are a bunch of anthro refs out there.
Another paleo doc, another instance of the Terrorbird getting humiliated by mammals...
it is nanigashi's third anniversary
I gave cowgirl bald seagle clothes
>>84289938okay okay here they are
have a backflip pigeon as well
nice to stop by the thread again>>84289938>>84289960pretty... i like how you always give them a little belly chub, especially considering her manerisms it's a perfect fit>>84286728if you remember the pic you did with her on a date a while back, you could do a continued version of that where the both of them are at her guard post lounging around
Fuck I love (and would love to fuck) this pal birb.

>>84294954also kinda looping gif version
>>84294954>>84294976this is fucking great

>>84289938>>84289960She's cute
Just a flesh wound
>>84291274This bird's such a handsome devil. I fell in love instantly.Every new bird design from Palworld somehow impresses me more than the last. That's not to say Pokémon doesn't have great birds, too, but they don't have animations like this that make me swoon. (Except for Quaquaval, maybe.)
>>84291274I saw that birb too, sexo the cloaca
>>84298043I ended up liking this bird more after that viral vid, cute hidden face.>>84303416>Every new bird design from Palworld somehow impresses me more than the last. That's not to say Pokémon doesn't have great birds, too, but they don't have animations like this that make me swoon. (Except for Quaquaval, maybe.)I liked the older not-staraptor one as well. Honestly, it's hard to pick *one* bird for my party... I wonder if Pato has a favorite Pal...?>>84289938Cute cowgirl eagle!
The new xpac for Grim Dawn has a skill that transforms you into a birbman, looks really good.
>>84306423wings are especially great
>>84306433also fembirb has some subtle booba
>>84306423A *permanent* transformation, btw. And a Tall birb at that!
>>84306533Yeah, I love that it's not just a shitty 2 seconds effect, but something you can actually keep on the entire game. Shame that gear doesn't change the birb's appearance, but I understand it's just not realistic for them to triple the number of armor models now and whenever they add new ones. I take what I can get, I guess. Also, I just found out you leave different footsteps when you walk in this form, so that's neat
>>84306423Apparently if you play female it will have booba.
