Im a quest 2 person and since a lot of the options don’t ship to my country I had to go lower end and get the Xbox 360 Kinect.It works surprisingly well with the quest 2 built in infra red light tracking, the lasers in the Kinect are non intrusive and it tracks :-arms-hips-legs-feet The software that was recommended for easier steam vr integration also has built in “ smoothing “ and can add more points of tracking with a quick calibration setting.The thing took me 10 minutes to setup , bought a 6 dollar usb adapter and the Kinect itself was 5 usd from a pawn shop. I recommend as an affordable solution. Caveats below :>cannot be used while sitting>it won’t track if you spin or you stand in a profile side view from the Kinect’s camera view >tracks at 24 frames per second, but software smoothing is pretty good now.Example of how that looks like below :
