I think the main problem I see with a split thread is advertising it to get it off the ground, like being obnoxious and coming into every hmofa sister thread and letting them know collared without animal cock now exists.

Our niche general dies early on occasion. Sundays seem to be our nadir. It gets restarted and the people who post continue to enjoy what we have as we so have it.
This isn't an exercise in Category Theory complexity. Clearly, there is a vast untapped user base for a strict orientation general. Go serve them. Go launch /leashed/. On one hand, these threads keep dying on the weekends during morning hours eastern time, when it should have the most posters. On the other hand, the threads have been starting off better than usual, with last thread hitting 60 posts in less than a day. And we have been doing more greens and CYOA's recently, the last 3 three threads not included. Maybe what we need to do is encourage more anons to make content for the thread, whether that's greens, CYOAs, draw requests, or even captions. Perhaps I should restart that Wild West CYOA I was doing last year.

As for myself, I was too busy and focused on writing during the timeframe to watch the thread for page 10ing. Writing is one demanding iron clad bitch on one's time. Still, I wish we could encourge more writers to jump in but the glory days of old are long gone for 4chan as a whole. Ain't just us alone.
