>>84874730I think I've talked about this here before, (and I haven't gotten a chance to actually use it in a story,) but since bugs "breathe" through spiracles and a tracheal system, plus with them perhaps being communal, I imagine their illicit drugs activities would basically be hotboxing it in groups. They'd just linger in a big cloud of drug smoke getting high as bug balls with their bug pals. It seems also a good way to make it not go to waste if the only way to use it is to put it in a big cloud, so might as well invite your buds. Humans might join in and find it hardly a buzz since maybe it's not as readily absorbed through the membranes of our lungs, but it works for bugs since it's much more direct. Maybe for other drugs chitin makes it more difficult to inject things and maybe edibles are more restrictive considering bug diets. Bug drugs
