I think furry becoming more mainstream will just result in more moralfagging about which kinks and fetishes are "acceptable". >>85010634Here's the thing, it has been more accepted alot more then the old days of the mid 2000's something awful troll spouting off "yiff in hell furfag" and things of that nature and the internet in general, for better or for worse, has lost alot of it's "old school" edge (granted it still exists but it's usually done for political reasons now), hell if you had told people a furry board was going to be added back then on this site people would've cried foul, I think people have mellowed out on it more since furries stay in their own little circles and learned not to be as "cringe" about it. (IE not being a total sperg and learning social ques and situational awareness going to a funeral or kids playground in a fursuit is in poor taste, time and place for everything.)that being said I don't think any of the more dubious stuff would ever be accepted by mainstream normies, fursuits? sure I've seen normies call them cute plus masots for sports teams anthros? they've existed in stories for literally hundreds if not thousands of years, people being into furry TF? that's a tale older then most of history (maybe the concept of spirit animals has some truths to it given the oldest stories, religions, etc all seem to have some form of talking animal people), but when something is just a talking dog akin to scooby doo that's probably where most would draw the line for obvious reasons that I personally agree with anything that has to be treated like a pet or child should be off limits.
