Afternoon.>>85106821>How are we doing, what are we playing?Loaded week. Finally finished Solar Eclipse, the difficulty spike at the very end knocked me on my ass. Had to optimize my team (EVs, IVs, movesets and the like) and design a couple funny strategies to beat it. I now have a renewed appreciation for Destiny Bond.But the brunt of it came from Gundam. Finally got to watch the second Hathaway movie (with an obligatory rewatch of the first one, and CCA too while we're at it), and coincidentally I was also finishing a rewatch of the original 0079 Mobile Suit Gundam. Having it all bunch together closely like that was certainly an experience, to say the least. All of that got one of the lads roping me back into Battle Operation 2 for a couple games as well. It still sucks but I like the way it sucks. Oh, and I also took an experimental deck to a regional-esque tournament for the card game and did pretty well, I'm quite happy about that. I also forced myself to draw something digitally after over a year of neglecting that, and while it's not my best work I'm satisfied I could get back into it without much whiplash. Pic unrelated.

She was free to boost to +6 with Quiver Dance and sweep the remainder of the final boss' team. Speaking of Lilligant, I also had to haphazardly put together a sunny day team to help her outspeed and outgun a particularly nasty mid-game boss. In retrospect I could've used Destiny Bond too but I only thought of it when I got stuck in the league tournament. Not a full strategy per se but my favourite has to be the weakness policy Minior with Shell Smash. It was rare for it to survive a hit necessary for its setup, but if he did it was pretty much a guaranteed sweep against most teams.
