Just had a dream where Kris finds another super-secret route, goes into behind-the-scenes isometric sequence, has a fight with giant squid monster, drives that monster through some kind of barrier (which requires several additional items and actions because otherwise it would've taken him to the beginning of the segment) and then there was an epic sequence where he finds and severs wires leading to some kind of switchboard with several categories, each redefining some aspect of Kris. The difference is Ralsei takes the chances to act outside of his own role with his own power, such as pushing the gang toward kindness to subvert the tragedy, enjoying his time playing video games in chapter 3 and his combativeness with the flowers. He still adheres to the prophesy and how it should directs him but he tries to fight where he can.Noelle on the other hand in chapter 4 and especially 5 has given up her own power to act multiple times in favor of letting Susie do it for her. Noelle is still letting someone dictate her life, Susie just happens to be choosing the things Noelle wants. There is the bond tester in chapter 5 and the multiple time Susie has thrown Noelle's phone instead of letting her tell them to fuck off on her own as examples.I'm really hoping chapter 6 gives us a chance for them to actually interact for cute stuff and also how they deal with their own passivity, namely fighting over who gets to use the Susie.
