Maybe I should start writing beast erotica. Okay, the first thing to address is that no AI chatbots will be replacing the appeal of monster romance novels anytime soon. Then, Steam absolutely lets you put beast stuff on it - with an asterisk. Even here in Germany, where all Adult Only stuff is banned off Steam, I was able to download Alice in Nightmare Land, which has a scene with a pig and one with a dog. The trick is that the actual Steam version of your game has to be scrubbed clean of anything smutty. Then you not so subtly hint that there's a patch that can be downloaded off-site that puts all the naughty bits back in. And then you also pare the game down into a demo to put on F95 so that they hopefully won't upload your full patched game onto their site for free.
The only issue is that people avoid games with AI art like the plague. Part of it is a knee-jerk "AI bad" sentiment and part of it is that most games with AI CGs use absolutely hideous AI images, the ones with the most generic artstyles and allll the gloss.
But in general, if you want to peck away at a monster novel or a monster game in your free time, go for it.
