Since scream fortress is officially in action, we'll be playing two of the new maps for this year (one of which might look familiar...), along with four stock maps. Unfortunately I've been so busy this weekend I haven't had time to grab any new custom maps and upload them to the server but valve was kind enough to save my bacon! If relevant to you, after much technical Gabe fuckary I can confirm you can bypass the 6gz dongle on the Steam Frame via one usb-c line including power and stable internet using something like an Anker 555 hub and good cables. It solves several issues and you can push 3k per eye at 144hz with a decent card. In either form there are still nasty problems with strafe ghosting I'm trying to hack around. No solving the shitty mic/speakers without mods and the color pallet and blacks remain meh compared to the Index which is gaped. But it's way smoother wired in this early stage and should swap seemlessly to 6gz when pulling the cable to walk around (not yet tested handoff.) I know it's just indexifying a device that's 7 years more recent but it'll get you a better experience while they fuck around with updates. It will also marry with base stations to use vives and different remotes, just know setting that up rn is like sitting on an auger blade.
