I love Nerd TF weight gain for, well, a lot of reasons (nerds are cute, fat nerds are cuter, pairs well with mild slob), but the specific thing I love most is how it sort of subverts the traditional bad end a lot of corruption TF type things tend to go for.Like weight gain on it's own tends to already involve the persons old life being fundementally altered in some way. Sometimes it's less extreme (office lady can still do her job with a couple extra hundred pounds), but if our main character is an athlete or cheerleader or model they've effectively had their whole lives ruined. It's even more extreme with subfetishes tacked on. Weight gain + slob or weight gain + redneck or weight gain + uglification or weight gain + IQ loss or weight gain + NEETification or even weight gain + bimbo. Pretty much all of them involve their old way of life being destroyed and the victim either suffering and eventually giving up(Neet or Slob), or getting too dumb to realize what happened to them(braindrain or redneck).Nerd usually coming with IQ increase is a nice little life line. Like, say our victim was a cheerleader or track girl or something(maybe someone did this to her intentionally for revenge, maybe she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got exposed to something, maybe it's a curse or some dormant genes). We see her gradually losing her hobby and plan for the future, becoming sad and angry as she fails to control her weight gain, develops acne and failing vision, see her losing her friends and becoming more isolated as the old her fades....but in-between it all we occasionally get references to her grades spiking recently, or a line about how the teachers must have changed how they teach because she's been understanding it all so much easier, or her accidentally realizing she read an entire novel without meaning to(something she's never done before). It gives a sense a new door has opened and a successful future might still be an option, just different.

For a moment she'll debate being the one to kick it off, she's got all these notes she took. Granted a lot of the notes started to drift into being a food journal and then just outright recording her naughty and perverted thoughts while being hungry and horny but there are still damning evidence scattered around these pages... somewhere. Maybe she'll turn to Jane for support, hell maybe even her mom or Quinn. But find no real interest from them to help her make such a "needless fuss" about nothing. Quickly Daria will find she's lost interest in the matter too, such a waste of good energy she could be using to stuff her face come to think of it.

Daria knows that this is a bad outcome for the world and peoples rights and a lot of young people especially women are being turned into lazy obedient cattle who will be good for the corporations....but even with her self awareness she's too deep into it to actually act. She mostly just quips with Jane when they're both a bit more awake about how it "could have been worse" and "at least we aren't starving anytime soon" .They've sort of become like Trent in a way. Still somewhat aware of how messed up the world is, but too chilled and stoned to really do anything about it, enjoying the ride is so much easier.

The facility even sent her home with plenty of extra doses of her medication to keep her acting properly until they start picking up her prescriptions. Kahn had heard about this stuff, new drug hit the market just a few weeks ago. Didn't think it was that big of a deal until seeing how drastically it worked for Tid Pao. Sure she needs to control her appetite but that can't be hard to manage right?
