I would hope it's legitimate and taken somewhat seriously. I know people like to dismiss this place as an echo chamber or the same shit on repeat, but the anon who brought up the furry space and the whole "Make Furry Great Again" point actually made a solid argument. At the end of the day, this is supposed to be a furry space, and I don't think P1 represents that anymore. I like the dude. He's chill, and I genuinely think he means well, but he's not really a furry. He's a skigger/brony at his core, and I think it's time he considers handing the group over to AC or Xog, who are actually involved in and represent the furry community. I'm also not particularly fond of how much skigger presence there is in the group now. They have their own spaces, and there's an obvious double standard here. Furries get killed on sight for simply showing up at their meets, yet we're expected to be perfectly fine with their pink flesh running around ours. I'm not saying P1 is a bad person or that he's intentionally steering the group in the wrong direction. I just think there's a disconnect between what VRFG was supposed to represent and what it's slowly becoming. You can like someone as a person while still questioning whether they're the right person to lead a community, and frankly, I think that's a conversation worth having rather than dismissing it as another nothingburger thread.
