You know, it amazes me that even after well over a year, ive yet to fully resolve the pradoxical superpostition of this setting. That being, how at once...
...its terrifying, existentially so and in more regular ways, borderline icky even sometimes.

I wish it were easy to find a floret. I've met quite a few candidates over the last two years, but they all turned out boring and difficult to sit with. Sometimes I wonder if most affini don't feel the same and are simply putting up with their charges because the alternative is to be alone. No, I think they are genuinely morally good. I'm not larping, and when you say I'm too deep in the cool aid, you're just dismissing my opinion as crazy, which means I get to call your opinion dumb in response, which I think is fair.

I don't care about what labels they fit, I care about why they act how they do, and I think their reasoning can be justified just about as well as any other. At the end of the day it all comes down to fundamental values.
Yes, they could raise us up as equals, yet they don't, why not? I can think of both good and bad reasons why they wouldn't, so I don't assume it's for bad the reasons, I assume it's for the good reasons.
