I'm gaguing interest in hosting an avatar optimization workshop this weekend.
The goal would be primarily to reduce the texture memory use for people's avatars. It would be for extreme beginners and be retard-proof, with step by step pictures and I'll be there to help guide you too and answer questions. Coming in deskie mode is encouraged if it would be too much of a pain in the ass to run unity in your overlay. It would probably take 1-2 hours depending on the number of questions or if people run into weird problems. By the end of it most people should be walking out of the venue with under 70mb of texture use, which should pretty considerably improve performance for everyone at big meets.

Anyone interested in someone like this?

First, based on all the replies of last thread and averaging the responses, here's the consensus on what actions loosely constitute a bannable offense:
1.Being a deskie (being a skigger or a nonfur in general is seemingly still allowed)
2.Not having a rotation of disproportionately sexualized avatars catered to autogynephiles, or little subby weirdly infantilized bug eyed gremlins. Mayus, the epitome of truefur, seem to be your best bet to slip undetected, statistically speaking.
3.Minding your own business, not engaging in drama or attentionwhoring, and befriending select people who are compatible and not hostile to you
4.Befriending and sticking to the smaller independent cliques they don't want you to befriend
5.Existing quietly, listening to anons talk and...*double checks notes* Doing 'nothing'? I guess
None of these apply if you already have befriended a few of the leaderfags, at that point you can literally be as disruptive and even malicious as you want. Inquiring about the nature of unexplained hostility and bans will be met with more hostility for daring to ask, as any reasonable man can expect.

Secondly, this is my observation of how the group actually operated, and not what it tries to be or sell:
Both the 4chan and furry labels are misleading. A moderated space with strict unquestionable hierarchies is fundamentally incompatible with the principles of an anonymous imageboard. It is not really a 'community' of any kind as it doesn't have a definite identity or common goal, it is an oversized clique of loosely acquainted inviduals that happen to know of 4chan, who gather periodically and proceed to enthusiastically have nothing else in common beyond alcoholism, ERP and saying nigger. It operates like the usual vrc nightclub of skigger gooners, except these happen to prefer e621 over r34booru, including a few leaderfags who are notorious nonfurs. There is very little trace of customary furry behavior, besides a penchant for equine dongs being flopped around. The creative, geeky, autistic, passionate members of the fandom that you might know from other circles do exist here, albeit as a rapidly dwindling minority. The staff is spearheaded by pathologically neurotic, narcissistic and paranoid schizos while simultaneously having the most suspiciously insipid general population I've seen from a furry group. This is by design: the vetting process for new blood is not intended to question your furry or 4channer status, but rather your conformability with a strictly enforced corporate environment. Anyone displaying the smallest hint of self agency, personality or principles is seen as a menace and subjected to a massive hatred propaganda by the leaders themselves. The majority of those who still frequent the place and aren't part of the staff or close confidants to them seem to be flat uninspired pushovers who never stick out or take sides or opinions on any topic publicly to avoid conflict. Lastly, there are no rules, and the claims of the staff are largely meaningless. The only rule is to be obsequious and kowtowing to them regardless of what your behaviour is.

Lastly: who is this group really meant for, then? It is first and foremost meant for the personal friends of the mod clique. If you're a newfag with no contacts, you might still feel at home if you are somewhat of an ambivert normie who is mostly new to furry, who happens to say nigger a lot, that is acquainted with vr skigger nightclub culture and maybe wants to dip his toes into some furry avatars for knotted ERP, and as long as you have a bisexual, AGP-adjacent, mostly submissive and yielding personality you should have a fine stay. Don't ever post on the thread with your name on it unless it is to brownnose one of the leaderfags over their cheap loona avatars or whatever to gain rapport and climb the hierarchy. Be prepared to do a lot of dick sucking, both metaphorically and literally if you want to have a chance. Good luck, anon.

This is before the tail end of 2024 when the group was pretty much dying. 4th of july event we had, what, 60-80 people? Like 1/4 were skiggers and newfags and friends of friends who've never came back here. Early 2024 the group was growing incredibly quick and we were constantly kicking people out. It's possible you just didn't noticed because it's very easy to miss the votekicks and especially host kicks. Hell, I was there was KS and others would ask "the question" to people joining then kicking them when they either didn't reply or gave the wrong answer. It happened to me when I joined, but I actually was on trash for years prior and have been on the 4chinz since '06

I'm sure someone has the actual numbers or a picture of how massive that instance was. The number was probably close to 50-60 now that I think about it, but probably the biggest turn out for an event I saw
