It's a really neat worldbuilding project where people find a supermassive subterranean organism and proceed to turn its insides into a tourist attraction and later national park.
It's similar to SCP where it takes something supernatural and tries to reword and define it as if it was a mundane science, which I personally think is very cool. I'd recommend most people to at least look into it at least once.

i've tried working through several story outlines or worldbuilding for a tentacle monster wife, or an eldritch flesh-mass wife, but i haven't been able to figure out how to solve the problems of mobility or interaction with the rest of society at large. without solving these issues, she becomes something like an appliance you take out of the closet only when you're feeling horny, or an office (cave, room, plane of existence. etc) you visit by appointment. it's really hot in the moment, but how could you build a happy life with her?
do any of you have ideas on how to solve this? i'd rather get some answers with sovl and yearning from people who like it rather than asking randos elsewhere.

You could set the scene in some kind of futuristic setting where aliens are prevalent(even though most are bipedal or quadrupedal at most) which would make it so society is more understanding and somewhat accommodating to her still incredibly unorthodox bodyplan, although she'd turn heads and have trouble in most places.
Running with that idea, I'd probably make her a starship technician or mech pilot, which she's really good at due to being able to crawl through tight maintenance ducts and access hatches, as well as handle complex tools and controls. She'd feel at home in the tight confines of the machine interior of your "cozy" little starship that you travel the galaxy together in.

Tentacles are very muscular structures, and would be rather mobile. A creature with them adapted for terrestrial life would probably have no problem getting around, though likely prone to reaching out and pulling herself forward rather than plodding and slithering whenever possible.

You could maybe have it "grow" to move. Instead walking, it grows in the direction it wants, and the stuff on the opposite side recedes to keep its mass constant. Do you ever see fast forwards of plants growing and dying? A little like that.
