Hello again, /fvn/. This time I played From the Heart. It was pretty short and at first I thought it would just be mostly sweet and fluffy, but it seemed like it was going to head into a messy love triangle. As the childhood friend and the gym owner both have eyes for the same man. I like the art style. I think it is okay overall. The most noteworthy thing is that it really likes to change the perspective character, so instead of an MC, you are bouncing around the main cast a bit. Some might find it off-putting, but I think more FVNs should use it. This is a more extreme case of it, but I don't think FVNs should be afraid of doing it when it fits. It is kind of a good way to flesh out a character or to let the reader see something the MC wouldn't be their for in a more natural way. Mylo being the only one with an idea where Alex is agrees to go with them with a plan of getting back at Alex for all the horrors he was put through. This way, you can have Mylo and Alex end up being combative and have a lot of the parts play out the same with Mylo not being as extreme right out the gate.

Getting colder, and PTK is just the right fit for the upcoming season, which is funny considering I've first read it dead at the beginning of summer.I really like the framing for the whole narrative: the snow in provides a reasonable excuse for all the characters to be huddled together while also acting as an impersonal antagonist the cast has to fight against on occasion, it helps in further building the sense of camaraderie too. Such a good solution, and one of the unrecognized reasons why this FVN is so appreciated I M H O
