Anyone ever been to this city? I might make a detour and pay a visit but I'd like to spice it up with some amusement like rollercoasters, I heard there's a place called Energyland, is it fun and worth the money?
>>
my bad, it's Energylandia*
>>
fuck off we're full
>>
>>2801826
lol i was homeless in krakow from early july to late September last year

Krakow worth visiting.
Warsaw is not.
>>
>>2801826
Take a day trip to Wieliczka Salt Mine if you can.

Dont go. It's incredibly full. Go to somewhere more your speed, like Berlin, or Brighton, instead.
>>
Anyone been to the Polish Air Force museum? Hoping to see it next time I visit Krakow
>>
>>2803143
there's been threads on /k/ and, i think, here
>>
Krakow is inexpensive and beautiful. I regret not attending a soccer match while I was there. I did get in trouble for pissing against the Bazylika Mariacka (I was drunk, needed to go and thought I went into an alleyway), so I would advice you to not piss against the Bazylika Mariacka. If this is a dealbreaker, you probably should not go, but if it isn't, then enjoy.
You can also make a day trip to Oswieczim.
>>
>>2803282
You're a fucking scumbag. You're everything Poland absolutely hates.
You're not welcome. You are a base barbarian with 0 culture, morals, respect or value.

>I was drunk
Imagine not handling the most basic of human functions. It's not an excuse.
You are a pathetic alcoholic. You're not based, you're not edgy, you're not cool. You're a fucking parasite who needs to go home.

I also advise you to go to Oswiecim (without the 'z' you larper faggot), and permanently stay there like the parasite you are.
>>
>>2803282
Britbongs shit up every city they visit
>>
>>2802934
I've been to Energylandia twice. The park focuses on rollercoaters which I consider pretty awesome. I was in october or late september and there werent too many people. Once I was there during halloween special which was nice because they had some additional scary attractions like horror houses with actors.
>>
>>2803293
I am not a scumbag, it was an honest mistake. Though the police anger and fine were of course completely justified.
>Imagine not handling the most basic of human functions. It's not an excuse.
It literally is. The liver cannot magically dissipate alcohol, it can only remove alcohol from the blood stream at a set rate. If you weren't a NEETfag and actually went out to party you'd know that alcohol makes people pee. So drunk people go pee in alleyways.
>>
>>2801826
I was there years ago and it was nice enough, except for annoying whores with red umbrellas pestering passers by to go to strip clubs.
>>
>>2803440
>bb-b-b-b-b-but the alcohol
Don't drink if you fuck shit up. Responsibility.
>>

how would you compare it to parks like six flags? as far as the rollercoasters go. they be fast?

yes, hyperion is one of the fasted in europe. Its stomach churming and takes breath away literally. Zadra is also good - its half wood rollercoaster, second biggest there. Rest are small rollercoasters for kids. Scary house sucks

Shit city, full of drunk, aggressive anglos, and gets boring after 5 minutes. All the buildings are the same, it's not cheap any more, and the people are rude as fuck, and don't want you there.
Go to Prague, instead.
>>
>>2804368
prague doesn't even have a proper market square and is a fake liveless disneyland compared to Krakow thoughbeit
>>
>>2801826
Recommend you go to Old Market at evening to see how cultural enrichment looks like
>>
I visited Krakow as a teen and we had free time in the main town square and apparently this guy in a trenchcoat flashed some of the girls in our groups and they acted really traumatized.
>>
>>2806385
Go ahead and say what you're trying to say. Stop hiding behind cryptic riddles.
>>
>>2806386
why do they always wear a trenchcoat?
>>
>>2806560
because it's easy to open but otherwise completely conceals that you're not wearing anything underneath it
>>
>>2803440
Drunk people also smash their bottles on the sidewalk. Doesn't make it an acceptable behavior, and it's only karma when a drunk slips and his knee crashes into a shard of broken vodka bottle.

Coasters are good. Energylandia = some faggot playing theme park world irl. absolutely zero theming, lmao.

prices are reasonable. naturally, summer months are heathing with people.
>>
>>2812544
what theming is there at Six Flags? it's not a "theme park" specifically, "just" an amusement park
>>
>>2801826
It looks beautiful. Are they welcoming to Asian people or are they very racist?
>>
>>2813727
You're asking about the ease of hooking up with Polish girls as an Asian man, I take it. Don't get your hopes up. As Poland has gotten more affluent, Polish women have gotten a lot more picky. It's unlikely you will experience xenophobia in Krakow, but I was in a small Polish town where some local louts yelled mean words from their car at a fat Asian kid waiting to cross the street. I think he was the son of one of the massage parlor women.
>>
>>2801826
Going to Krakow next week - of the things I've booked Energielandia is on there, they have their own bus shuttle service from the city centre and you can book a return trip for a few Euros.

It seems that public transport connections to other parts of Europe are pretty generous.

The city does have a reputation for stagnites here (bongland) which I imagine explains the drunk bongs, even I'm going to a party hostel for the cheapness.

>>2802171
Heard the Wieliczka gets very crowded, will report back at any rate, I'm going there very early.

Can we agree that Polish girls are teh most beuatiful girls in europe?
>>
>>2815660
Fucking simp. It is the fault of people like you that the women here got sky high egos and expectations. And answering your question, no, they are just slightly above average, but even that means nothing when theyre rotten inside.
>>
>>2815756
So yes they are the most beautiful in Europe? Or is there another nation that has better looking women? Ukraine maybe?
>>
>>2815791
Out of the ones i visited, defnitely Greece, Norway and Sweden.

Yes just was there 7 hours ago
Depends if you are truly a fan of the history of aviation or sowiet polish aviation.
If you are more akin to aviation photography than not so much. The planes are just left outdoors to wither away and they are carelessly parked like cares with no beautiful backdrop. Had a hard time getting nice pictures. No elevation to get better pictures sadly. Go there on a sunny day like today. Needed to piss and shit so was more in a hurry and didnt see all hangars. Goes from birth to aviation to modern cold war era.

My experience to your comment:
>Shit city
hmm I like it. Public transport works except in rush hour. Public transport vehicles are fucking shit. Like dont the buses know what an ABS system is? I can feel every small tap on the brakes the drivers make. Elderly people constantly almost falling. Go to my country Switzerland to understand how comfortable standing in a train or bus is. This shit just pisses me off daily (still here while writing this post)
>full of drunk
Havent experienced the night life. Not really a fan. Would be cool to meet a girl here. Polish women (fertile) are on average lookswise 7.5/10. Swisswomen as whole (fertile) I'd place at 8.5/10. Bur women is poland are also all ethnically polish, while our beauty stems from immigrants from France, Italy, Albania, Germany. We have more of a mixture of beautiful women. Everywhere I go I see them in Switzerland similar to Krakow, where I am at now. On the contrary earlier this month in Antwerpen, Brüssel, Brouges I sae almost no women (fertile). Average they were 3/10. Most women were either elderly or arab/tamil/ethiopian and covered up pushing baby carts. Only remember 1 good looking girl in Antwerpen in Carrefour grocery market. 1!
>aggressive anglos
Have only passed by one obvious british speakign tourist near a church. A woman on here phoen very respectful. Only tourist group I have passed were loud South Americans. But this was today, during the day. Otherwise... Krakow is fucking silent. Like eerily silent. No one speaks on the public transport except for a child and its mother. Even in the city park Krakow. What the fuck?! I like silence in Switzerland. I like my personal space, I am a millenial introvert, one of the first (Genz has followed my monch-like-sexless lifestyle), but ffs

>and gets boring after 5 minutes
true
>All the buildings are the same
true, nothing special from Swiss architecture. Typical european build
>it's not cheap any more
in relation to Switzerland I feel like a king. Same when in Austria. Everything is cheap
>and the people are rude as fuck, and don't want you there.
Dude... is this only in Krakow or is this everywhere in Poland. Are they gentically wired to tongue cluck/click when they see me. ffs okay, you dont want me here or I piss you off... but what are you fucking Polish people in my space. I stand far away at the bus stop or in the tram or bus and you all huddle near me literal elbow to elbow even though there is so much space (over fucking there). When purchasing goods in a store its liek they are pushy and just come up to you, as if they have decided and are in a hurry to take e.g carton of milk, so I give them some room since I have not decided what milk brand I want... and they just then stand there also indecisive fucking wasting my time. Elderly women on the sidewalk have so much room, yet in general they walk in the middle. Are they retarded? Everything in general seems clustered and dense. Funny thing is when comparing Krakow to Zürich, population density is way higher in Zürich. So the feeling of people around you should be higher in Zürich. Why the fuck do I feel more cramped in Krakow? You literally have more space than our small Zürich yet are you telling me your civil and traffic engineer fucked it up badly? In grocery stores your entraces and aisles are fuckign way to narrow so you have to squeeze by every fucking body (I am not fat and have below 4% bodyfat). What gives? Polish people explain! I am like really angry, due to the fact I cant outright label this city as shit tier liek say Athens or Brussels. Its good, but something is way off in Krakow. Like there is a dysharmony!
>Go to Prague, instead.
Please tell me is Prag better?
>>
>>2817938
Honestly man, i am Polish myself and i have the same feelings about personal space, it also creeps me out.
It is mostly older people who do this, but it transcends from one generation to another. If you spoke Polish, you would also often be asked deeply personal questions out of the blue, especially by old women. Why is it like that? I dont really know myself.
When it comes to the public transport, there can be two reasons. For one, under communism the interiors of the buses were not heated, so people kept warmth by sitting very close to each other. Also, until 20 years ago public transport in Poland was incredibly cramped because most of ordinary people could not afford cars, so people naturally placed themselves very close to each other.
And when it comes to prices, almost every place in the world is dirt cheap compared to Suisse, so the comparison is futile. Temporal comparisons work much better - in 2019 a baguette from żabka costed 7pln, now it costs almost twice as much.
>>
>>2818017
>Temporal comparisons work much better - in 2019 a baguette from żabka costed 7pln, now it costs almost twice as much.
It's insane. I went to Switzerland like ~6 or 7 years ago and it was fucking horrifying with everything costing quadruple. I felt like a bum.
I went last year and now it's just double. Expensive, yeah, but does not give you a heart attack any more.
And it's not exactly that Switzerland has gotten cheaper.
>>
>>2818017
>under communism the interiors of the buses were not heated, so people kept warmth by sitting very close to each other
>until 20 years ago public transport in Poland was incredibly cramped because most of ordinary people could not afford cars, so people naturally placed themselves very close to each other
lol okay thanks for that. It makes me see Krakow from a different perspective
>>
>>2817935
Polish bus drivers fucking STOMP on the brakes for every stop. They don't give a fuck about old people with groceries almost falling down as they make their way to the door.
>>2817938
I came to Poland from Asia, so being in close proximity to people didn't bother me. It still felt a little strange to be in close proximity to White people. American Whites are all "excuse me I'm sorry" if they have to pass within two feet of you.
>>
>>2817938
>Are they gentically wired to tongue cluck/click when they see me
I have never seen this happen to anyone that wasn't brown here. if you're brown then you can thank Angela Merkel

shut the fuck up swiss scum. Cracow is the BEST
>true, nothing special from Swiss architecture.
1. there's no such thing as "swiss"
2. there's no such thing as "swiss architecture"
3. buildings in switzerland - boring flat facades without ornamentation
meanwhile in Cracow - the single best looking church IN THE WORLD
