Recommend good spots for nightlife in Seoul?Hongdae is a meme but it's still nice because there's a shitton of clubs, it's almost always free entry, you can go out and reenter later with no issue, etc.... but the vibe is just off, the Korean dudes there are the horniest motherfuckers around and now there's always a bunch of Filipino whores walking around everywhere waiting to be picked up.Gangnam is just stuck-up plastic surgery type people so the vibe is also weird.It's fun to go to Jongro but the average age of people drinking there is about 70, so not the best for hanging out with people my age.I like Sinchon and Seongsu but it's more for a dinner+drinks with friends rather than some proper partying.Any other recommendations?
>>2810145Konkuk Uni station and Kondae are pretty good for a less niche feeling. Most people there are just authentic middle class Koreans or Uni students. Itaewon gets a bad rap but it can be really good depending on if you're okay with dealing with people from all over and obvious day 1 tourists in spades. Also, if you don't like Gangnam/Hongdae because of the atmosphere then clubbing just might not be your thing, but there are other venues available. I've had more fun just drinking in parks or outside convenience stores solo or with people rather than being in a bar or club. If you're not too shy it's pretty easy to do that.

The more you stray away from the main venues you'll find yourself being the lone foreigner, and that can be a good experience since people in the country are generally welcoming and friendly. Most Korean peeps in Seoul actually go to places like Ttukseom or Banpo near the Han river and just sit out on picnic blankets and eat snacks and drink. This goes for day or night. There's also a bunch of parks that are nice to hang around in and I would pregame in those places before going to a bar or whatever.
