I've been using a Cabinzero Classic Tech 28L for my business trips. I don't like checking luggage or bringing a rollerbag so this is all I bring. I like it because it can fit enough for a week or so of travel and it fits underseat on most US airlines I've been on, but it is super uncomfortable especially when fully loaded.I was looking at the Osprey Daylite 26+6, the GoRuck GR2 26L (discontinued but there are used ones on ebay), and the Thule Aion, but I wasn't sure if those would be comfortable either.Does anyone have any experience with any of these packs or know of something similar that would meet my needs?
>>2818263I’ve been using the Allpa 28 since it was released and it’s been put through the wringer. I used to be a huge bagfag because when this board had such an obsession with them but the Cotopaxi stuff is so good that I just don’t really care anymore. I don’t believe it will ever tear or fail in my lifetime and it has every conceivable feature I would want. I’m not trying to shill for them, I would never bring one of their bags on anything seriously /out/, but as far as a travel pack goes its just about perfect. I still get away with getting it on the plane as a personal item.
>>2818263are you an anorexic midget nudist? teach me how to pack for a week and fit it all in that as a normal sized clothing wearing human
>>2818270If you’re not going to cold and/or varied climates 28L is perfect. you can even get away with it in some varied climates if you don’t need to pack too many laters, but even then 35L or tops 40L is doable.
>>2818270Roll your clothes and use packing cubes.
>>2818270Khaki pants take up much less space than jeans. As long as you aren't getting drenched in sweat on a regular basis, you can get by with packing a single pair of pants and changing every 5 days, washing your laundry after you change pants.Be sure to buy wrinkle-proof pants and shirts if you plan on cramming them into a pack, or else get them ironed after you arrive.A week's worth of boxers and lightweight socks don't take up very much space.Wear your jacket on the plane instead of packing it.If you're traveling to a Third World shithole, you definitely want to have sandals for rainy days, so you don't get your nice shoes ruined by stepping in filthy puddles. But in First World countries, you can wear your nice shoes in the rain.
>>2818423>sandals>3rd worldOH NONONONONON enjoy your infections, lemme guess your "third world" is basically a resort town or resort hotel in Cebu
>>2818270use clean/dirty packing cubes and take less clothing you retarded noob
>>2818734You've never hosed down your dirty feet with a bidet nozzle after returning to your room? Come on now. People walk through dirty water with sandals all the time. You'll only get an infection if you have an open sore on your feet. And tell me this, how is it better to get your sneakers and socks soaked in filthy pavement water after a downpour?
>>2818921it really isn't that hard to avoid puddleseven in 3rd world shitholes
>>2818921> You'll only get an infection if you have an open sore on your feetOr the glass, rubbish, or other BS on the street that downpours and water moves around. Yeah it's every easy to get a cut or splinter with sandals. Again you're probably considering "third world" walking with sandals to the 711 for some cheap beer and back.>how is it better to get your sneakers and socks soaked in filthy pavement water after a downpour?Unless you have the cheapest walmart brand shits, most have decent water proofing and if you have an umbrella it should be easy to keep mostly dry. The issue isn't the water, it's the trash swirling around in it.>>2818929>it really isn't that hard to avoid puddlesUntil it's a deluge of rain from a microburst regular in SEA, this is incredibly common in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, taiwan due to the weather.
>>2818263I just bought the Osprey Daylite 26+6. Here's a picture of what it looks like on the inside. I don't know about travelling for a week with just that but for a short couple day trip it's really nice.
>>2819085Yep, then the entire pavement becomes a puddle, and water wicks up into your shoes with every step.>waterproof sneakersI've never encountered them. Fancy hiking shoes are waterproof, but your average mesh athletic sneakers aren't. Waterproof shoes can be very miserable in tropical climates, as they trap your feet sweat inside.>get beer and backI walk 5 km at a time in sandals. All the SEAmonkeys go scuff scuff with every lazy step, but I walk silently in my ADDAs.
>>2819091I've heard good things about that bag. I ordered a Cabin Zero Military 36l a couple of days ago. Don't care for the milfag aesthetic but it is supposed to be durable and has the features I want
>>2819341I figure this bag looks retarded enough that people arent going to think I'm CIA or in the Marines right? I don't want to draw attention to myself
>>2819342#grayman
>>2819342Do you have a diplomatic passport? If not, nobody will ever think you're a spy.
>>2819342Do you dress like this?
