Drop your wisdom regarding Serengeti and Kilimanjaro in January. So far it seems that you have to pay big money for almost everything. Also looking for travel tips for Nairobi, Mombasa and Daressalam, if it's worth a visit.
>>2819908>So far it seems that you have to pay big money for almost everything. Are you sure you're not just looking at fenced off safari trips aimed at rich boomers? You can travel Africa pretty cheaply
>>2819908>DaressalamSkip it and go straight to Zanzibar, though its not much in terms of "safari", some monkey groves but mostly beach towns.
>>2819909The Kilimanjaro hike is starting at USD 1.500 because it's permit this and permit that. You are not allowed to go hike it yourself.
>>2819908Africa is far more expensive than you would imagine. The number of people actually going there is limited so they milk the cattle as good as it goes to the point the cattle is no longer willing to give any milk and stays home.Permits here, permits there, toll for every dumb dirt road, bribes there, $100/Night shit rooms, expensive as fuck visas it's wild.
>>2819930I feel like Africa is getting popular as a destination again since Sydney Sweeney went there for a Safari. I feel like everyone probably just wants to hit the big national parks and avoid as much as Africa as possible though, which is probably expensive. I do feel like the Serengeti is probably the coolest natural wonder on earth. Disney should buy the Serengeti and turn it into a theme park or something without the Africans.
>>2819930Africans are lazy, and ripping off the tourists who do visit ensures that few tourists visit and they can spend most of their days lounging around doing nothing. This is exactly what they want, and there's no argument capable of convincing an African that serving more white people for less profit per whitey is a good idea.
use peak planet and easy travelsthey are nice companies and ive used before but it was around $3500 each for safari and kili hike but was 7 years ago
