>>2820708Big news for the one saudi oil lord that visited epcot in the mid 80s
>>2820708perfectly encapsulates modern day disney.the peasants get inebriated drinking around the world while ogling consoomer slop they could only dream of affording. it starts when booking their trip online at an all-stars resort while dreaming of being fortunate enough to afford staying at a moderate let alone deluxe resort. then they are forced to wait in a 100 minute wait for slinky dog dash while envying people with enough cash to blow on lightning lanes to cut in front of them. you still paid thousands to be here even though you got the bottom of the barrel experience because thats all any middle class person can afford. you traveled here and paid all that money to remember figment and dreamfinder from your childhood? well too bad, dreamfinder has been dead for over 30 years because he represented the creative will of the white man and that costs money so here's some retarded gucci encrusted nonsense that some black kid will stand there and stare at, dreaming of stealing it while literally no one, not even rich people who have the money to burn actually buy it. galactic starcruiser? you mean they closed it because people of wealth and class didnt want to spend their money and vacation in an indoor laser tag arena? when you realize>this company run by the shekel persuasion just wants to mock you for being too middle class to feel good about yourself and they feed off the greed energy they get from you spending your entire savings to take your family to the wilderness lodge and ride carnival rides that replaced your leader of white culture's vision of the perfect america. and they probably laugh at you all in the process, especially seeing you covet things out of your price range that they themselves could have the privilege of purchasing if they wanted, but don't because its tacky slop made by jews and not the dreamfinders/walt disneys/imagineers/white man product of the past which held actual cultural value and substance
I am actually devastated
Sorry for the hard to read map, don't really know what I'm doing or care to make it look more professional. Don't know how to get the estimated mileage either besides tracking GPS while actually attempting the walk. Also, not shown is that I determined there should be a sidewalk that runs from Blizzard Beach up to Coronado springs which I didn't catch before. So in theory that's all resorts, parks, water parks, shopping district, and mini golfs.
>>2820716Real talk, I can afford the expensive shit but far prefer the value resortsI am not going to sit in a hotel all day which provide you just about the same shit
>>2820718Honestly, this is a step in the right direction for the value resorts. The style chosen for all of them, even Pop Century and AoA let alone the all-stars might be the gaudiest examples of tasteless design ever seen in resort planning. That shadowbox shit that was on the walls at Pop looked like gentrified trash you would see on the walls of an Applebee's. Fake ass obvious callbacks to vintage stuff from the past but the actual items in them are barely worthy of a garage sale, and are the stereotype ephemeral stuff you expect it to be.I've had a theory since around the time they built these abominations that they made the value resorts look like shit on purpose, to fool you into thinking the moderate and deluxe resorts are a better value. At least the new style they are going for is streamlined and looks more like the interior of a hotel. They could vastly improve all of them if they dropped the randomness of the IPs being spread out at all the resorts and just themed each one to something more specific. Like just made Pop an entirely Mickey Mouse IP themed resort, and make AoA's sections be actually themed to settings in the movies they're based on instead of everything looking a cheap wallpaper representation of them. And most importantly, just get rid of the giant objects. Why the fuck are there like six resorts with random giant objects all over the fucking place? That shit always looked so terrible its embarrassing and offensive to even see in pictures, let alone when you're staying there.Actually now that I think about it just bulldoze all the value resorts and build more moderates in their place.
>>2820723I mean this isn't really much different than the walking you'd do in a normal day there
Currently at my third night of HHN, and I have updated my strategy to do everything in one night without Express. Do not listen to anyone else. They are retarded and probably gay.>Stay and Scream at Terrifier (if you can't stand being in the sun for that time, do WWE)>Immediately head to Jason before it opens.>Go back to Fallout and Galkn, doing Fallout first.>Finish off with Hatchet and ChainsFrom there you can either head to Nightmare Fuel or hop in line for Dolls depending on whether you want to do the shows. This way you knock out three of the busiest houses with virtually zero wait. For FNAF, you will have to wait until 1AM or bite the bullet and wait. I'll share my thoughts on the houses some other time, but I will say this is a very strong year with only one bad house (Fallout).
>>2820782When I did stay and scream, someone got an umbrella and everyone passed it along to groups as they got stuck in a part with direct sunlight as they shuffled into it. Was kinda neat. But yeah, if you're doing stay and scream, a water bottle and caps for everyone (or an umbrella) are a must>>2820759On one hand I agree that the displays were poorly presented and a bit cluttered but I'm not sure just glorified wallpaper is the answer. I guess I prefer that someone has spent some time thinking and putting something together rather than seeing artwork that probably originated as a Jira task for some random artist to do before he was assigned to do posters for 25% off end of season posters for gift shops.I think Disney are very careful not to risk elevating their value and moderate value resorts too high, hence them having the same sort of design principles (with AoA and Pop Century being the same but done slightly nicer so that along with the skyliner they can justify the price bump over the All Stars). Accidentally make a value resort too well themed and it takes away bookings from the higher margin resorts, make it too shabby and it hurts their reputation. You'd probably be interested in the overhaul they've just done to the Davy Crockett ranch in Disneyland Paris. They've gone in a lot heavier in the Disney theming and now rather than just woodland cabins with the occasional mickey, it's based on the Junior Woodchucks from Duck Tales and leans heavily into it being one of their campsites. Families even get a Jr Woodchuck survival manual when they check in.
>>2820855Interestingly it isn't based on old or nu duck tales, it's based off of the French comics so the art style has that modern French comic influence. Actually looks pretty comfy for the cheapest hotel in Paris (stayed there a couple of years ago and it was pretty good, aside from no breakfast buffets, starbucks or park shuttles)https://x.com/ED92Magic/status/1964007442011857332/video/3
Just came back from a trip to Efteling. The park was comfortably busy, never had to wait longer than 30 minutes for anything.I haven't been in several years so the new Grand Hotel in the park is there now. I wasn't a fan when they announced it, I figured it was gonna ruin the impact of the main entrance building, but I have to admit they did a great job, it looks beautiful. The big thing was riding Danse Macabre for the first time (pic related). I avoided all ride footage so I had no idea what to expect other than the general idea of how the ride system works, but it is definitely fantastic. In broad strokes it's like a spinner ride you find in most parks, but souped up, grandiose and everything dialed to 11. It's not necessarily the most thrilling ride, but it is incredibly fun. The fast spins and ups and tilts do a great job selling the "dance" part, and all movements are perfectly in sync with the music, making it feel oddly cinematic. Not sure that's the best word to describe it but whatever. Great ride. The surrounding area is also themed very well. I especially loved the sound design, you always hear things rustling in the bushes around you from all directions, which grow more monstrous sounding the farther you get in the queue.Other stray observations:>Fata Morgana is fun, but some of the animatronics need to be fixed up so their necks don't look broken>Droomvlucht is still more magical than anything Disney has ever made>Villa Volta is still my favorite for being solid fun for zero wait times usually (and the best music)>All staff was super friendly and happy to be there, a nice thing to see.>Didn't do any roller coasters because my partner doesn't like them, but I tricked her onto De Vliegende Hollander at the end of the day and she cursed me the whole way through the outdoor section. She ended up having fun so it was all good in the end.TL;DR - Efteling is rad
>>2820718It is so ugly. I hate this style. Started with Universal and now even Disney is doing it. >>2820730>>2820759I will never understand this mindset. The whole point of money is access to beauty. This is like those billionaires who marry ugly women (Zuckerberg). Part of the fun of life is your resort. The fluffy pillows. Pretty things to look at. Fluffy robes. Fluffy slippers. Soft air. Special water. A sparkling clear large pool free of loud obnoxious people. Margeritas in the sun. Spas. and a big tub. A big TV. No bugs, no roaches. Housekeepers doing everything that you'd have to do at home. Its part of the experience. Going to the parks, as fun as it is, does beat up the body a bit with the walking and sharing with so many people. Coming instantly to a semi private luxury place of beauty almost immediately after is part of the fun. That said, they're charging almost a thousand dollars a night I saw at the Contemporary. And the interior used to be marble and dark bachelor NYC type tones and now its that cheesy bright cheap type that you posted.
>>2820782I don't understand why you'd do Universal when the Busch Gardens one is ten times better simply because of the USF pipeline.
>>2820782https://youtu.be/dUSSdMkE-JADisney Adult here. I never understood people who enjoy terrifying themselves.
>>2820855>Davy Crockett ranch>tattoos, earrings, man bun galore
>>2820855Honestly by destroying Frontierland, Disney got rid of the last place they had that would appeal to men
>>2820706How DEI rewrite are they going to make the carousal of progress
>>2820759Kill yourself retard. The all-stars are the best resorts by far if you're a little kid. You pricks who dump on them would never stay there anyway even if they did rip the soul out. If you can't understand why the giant objects are cool, it can't be explained to you. Just gtfo and pay more for subtler theming and almost no extra amenities other than location.
>>2820706The idea of an alien spaceship doesn't scare me as much as those victorian haunted houses. https://youtu.be/zrP_t7FoJbs
>>2820877There's a significant contingent of people who cannot or will not allow themselves to enjoy a vacation. It still has to be work to be enjoyable - that is, planning the whole day out down to minute details, being up at the crack of dawn to get ready, being at the park for rope drop or whatever, and staying as long as possible "to get your money's worth." The idea of relaxing to them is knowing their money was "well spent," that is to say they extracted the absolute maximum value from it that they could, even though it's stressful and tiring. This comes out when people say a motel room "Is just where I sleep, I won't spend any time there." They won't allow themselves the luxury of sleeping in on their own vacation. It's absurd. I wonder if they get any actual joy from going to theme parks, or if they see the whole experience as running down a checklist and trying to get as many boxes ticked as they can (once again thinking they're at work). For the money people spend on the value motels at WDW (they have less square footage than a Motel 6 room), they could have a nice suite or a condo just off property. Again, "it's just a place to sleep" gets repeated, it's like they must punish themselves while on vacation.
>>2820910How do you find good ratings? Google Maps is owned by Indians who promote thier own kind no matter how roach infested they are.
>>2820910To me part of the luxury is to stay on property where you don't have to wait for a shuttle or be driven. Monorail access is pure luxury.

>>2820706Are we ever gonna get a Journey to Center of the Earth here? To be honest I'm not impressed with Tokyo's version. I'd want it to be more like the 60s movie, with a large sea, dinosaurs, and Atlantis. But still at least they have one unlike Orlando.

>>2820910Very original and fresh observation anon. Nobody has ever talked about this before. I don't really think that the micromanaging tourists are that much more present in the Disney sphere than any other expensive tourist destination. People just dump on the Disney planners because it's not as interesting as real cities. If a Disney planner put the same effort into a Tokyo trip for example nobody would care, but because it's put towards a family theme park with rides people scoff. And for many people, they'd rather overpay to get a "full experience" staying on property than be really value-minded and stay off property. Don't forget early park entry for resort guests which draws in these types of people too.>>2820924>Anybody else marriedNo.

>>2820857Speaking of Disney comics, never forget that Disney banned one of the most acclaimed comic series of all time from ever being reprinted again because a racist looking African character shows up in one issue.
>>2820860That looks amazing. I hope I get to go to the European parks someday.
>>2820928Thanks for solidifying my argument :)
>>2820930>Crying about a comic book for kids in a thread about theme parksFor what purpose
>>2820926Probably not, those rides take up a lot of space and both California and Florida have examples of the system.Definite possibility of Paris getting something though. Original planning documents for the Frozen expansion showed something that looked an awful lot like a cars land and it's widely thought that the cars road trip is only a temp attraction.
>>2820782I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and be a good goyim and get Express. I have friends visiting from out of state that want me to be the HHN spirit guide and I don't really wanna go full Jason Bourne autist in front of them as I shepherd them around and analyze the wait times. Plus I know they're gonna want to do the Mummy and sit down and eat and stuff. If it was a solo trip I'd go special ops autist like you. Goddamn it Universal. You win.

>>2820940But people are saying Express barely makes a dent.
>>2820944Fuck off with this shit. If I wanted to watch low-effort theme park content from influencers I would be on youtube.
>>2820946I've read the opposite. 60 minute standby queues being 5 minute express waits. We'd also be going on a weekday.
>>2820949I mean take my word with a heavy grain of salt I'm only referring to our resident youtuber who said something along the lines of express being like Disney LLs in that it's basically mandatory and everyone has them for HHN so now nobody is special.
>>2820927kill yourself fucking faggot retard
>>2820951No disrespect to him but I really doubt that. I've read reports from people who attended this year with express and got all the houses done in an hour and a half then just chilled the rest of the night.
>>2820928The free water park perk is the biggest reason to stay on-site. You can even book a value resort the first night, spend the day at Typhoon Lagoon the next day, and then check in to another resort. You basically need to do this because the water park admission is only valid on your check in day.. Which doesnt really make sense because it decentivises people to stay more than one night.
>>2820955I've used express before. It definitely doesn't make everything a walk on but it makes waits way shorter. Like the posted wait will be an hour but you'll get in in 15 minutes.

Been whispers but Universal have confirmed that they're going out their way to make sure the UK park doesn't eat into Orlando holidays. https://x.com/BoardwalkTimes/status/1963608222075376074Probably confirms that the vast majority of rides will be unique or from the Asian parks.

>>2820984>Florida hates the LGBT groomers. Is that why it's the faggot capitol of the country?Miami, Orlando, St. Pete, Tampa. Look up Fort Lauderdale pig week.
>>2820979This makes me happy as there will be less people in the park, but makes no sense for them. They'll lose the UK base.
>>2820988Used to be faggotland. Those places are all turning against the faggots
>>2820979I dont think the average normgroid family even looks up what attractions parks offer before deciding to go. I cant count how many times I've seen people walk up to ride ops and ask what a ride is. There's no way it wont cut into british tourism to Orlando, but that's probably for the best. Hopefully they do a Universal Brazil soon so we can eliminate the Brazilians next
>>2820967The last thing I, or most people, would want to do on check in day is to go to a fucking water park. It’s a worthless perk for 95% of hotel guests. The 30 min early entry is the best perk. It should be an hour though

Batwing at Six Flags America has permanently closed and they have a sign in front of the ride about it
>>2821004Maybe I'm old but I don't see the appeal in doing 5 straight days of theme parks. Even when I was like 16 and brimming with energy, a day at a theme park would wipe me out. Two days was pushing it.I imagine 5 days would zombify me
>>2821009FI hope we see a new Vekoma flyer in the US soon. I'm honestly hoping we're seeing the decline of B&M now that everyone has caught up to them (and even beats them if some thoosies are to be believed) in terms of smoothness and overall fun. Not saying I hope they close up shop, but there's a certain monotony B&M rides have to them now because they're everywhere here.
>>2821010Most people don’t go to theme parks on their arrival days either. I agree they wipe you out but so do water parks. If you want to go to a waterpark to rest, you can do that at the resort pool without running around or changing in a changing room. There are of course theme park commandos who do parks every day but that’s tiring to most people. Most people arrive at all hours and just get situated to go to a park in the morning the next day. They do relax by the pool and maybe go out to dinner. Maybe Disney Springs. I doubt very many are taking advantage of that water park “perk” (except the aforementioned theme park commandos)
>>2821013Siren’s Curse and The Flash are the smoothest coasters I’ve ever ridden. Their newer Disney coasters are also just as smooth as was Dragonflier at Dollywood. Cedar Flags is very pleased with Siren’s Curse and screamscape says they might replace Jaguar at Knott’s with a tilt. SC is fantastic and despite those evacuation videos it’s been one of their most reliable coasters since it opened. I predict that Cedar Flags will build many Vekomas at their parks over the next decade. Probably some clones too. As for B&M, it’s time for them to evolve and I think that they will.
>>2820992Definitely not Orlando. Most of the theme park employees there are fags
>>2821046If you're a Florida local doing a disney hotel staycation type thing then the water park day perk is really cool. That said last time I did one I skipped the water park because I wanted to explore Port Orleans more since it was my first stay there
>>2820910I don’t understand those people. I always stay at an off site villa even when doing Disney (one right next to Disney). It’s more than a place to sleep it’s for chilling and relaxing. Especially if it’s raining. I’m on vacation and prefer not having to cook but having the kitchen is a nice perk even if only for a couple meals like breakfast. This is supposed to be a vacation. I can only walk around in a theme park all waking hours until my legs fall off for a couple of days per trip, not every single day. That’s not fun at all that sounds like torture my favorite part of the vacation is usually hanging out by the pool and sipping on a drink
Is Offhand Disney gay or is he just a fag
>>2821076I watch a UK theme park vlogger once in a while, and he organizes an annual trip to US theme parks. It's another park every single day, even after driving 2-5 hours early in the morning to get from one city to another, every day, for more than a week. By the end everyone in the group is hot, worn out, miserable, and not really in a mood to ride coasters. But I don't think he's ever planned in an off day for everyone to just sleep, chill, and hit the pool. It's go go go from the moment they get off the plane. That's crazy to me, especially given the difference in climates.
>>2820877>I will never understand this mindset. The whole point of money is access to beauty. And your idea of beauty is a Disney resort? There are many reasons I’d say at a Disney resort - charm, kitsch, convenience, nostalgia, and more, but beauty is not one of them.
>>2820910>motel room is just where I sleep>somehow this means they won’t be sleeping in
>>2821086If it's a youtube channel then it's work, not play
>>2821100Try reading my post first>>2821105Not for most of the other people tagging along
>>2821106>Not for most of the other people tagging alongThey're still part of a work trip, whether he pays them or not. The point is they're not doing that because it's what they want to do, it's because it makes for more content on Youtube. Would you trade being able to sleep in, in exchange for having your job be 'going to theme parks and recording it'? I probably would.
My sister goes to college in Florida. During thanksgiving my dad wants to go down to visit and they'll go to Universal. He invited me to come, but idk if I should. It's been a long long time since I've been to universal, and I'd like to see Super Nintendo World, but I don't want to be restricted by what my family wants to do, and also I was thinking of taking the time to do my own trip somewhere else, maybe road tripping New England. What do you think?
>>2821013I only became a thoosie this year but it’s hard for me to imagine a time when B&M was the best. Maybe in 2000 or so. When I see a coaster with interesting ideas (Falcons Flight, Maverick, TT2, Pantheon, Hagrid’s, Guardians, Mummy, Siren’s Curse etc), I don’t need to look up whether B&M made it because it’s obvious they didn’t. B&M doesn’t make interesting rides, they make boring rides. Likewise, when I see a generic looking track with a small drop and some loops (Medusa, Rougarou, Batman, the list could go on), I don’t need to look up whether B&M made it because it’s obvious they did.
>>2821106I did, you seem to think only using a hotel for sleep somehow caps the amount of sleep you get at the hotel. That doesn’t follow.
>>2821111Universal would be fun even if you’re “restricted”, so long as you enjoy being with your family. New England is nice too but do that in late September / early October when the leaves change. Thanksgiving is too late.
>>2821108>The point is they're not doing that because it's what they want to doWrong>>2821117Try it again, anon
>>2821111Spend as much quality time with your family as you can, New England or wherever will still be there after your parents are gone and the rest of your family has their own responsibilities and you don't vacation together anymore.
>>2820949Non-express autist here. I don't use them, but I can definitely tell they get big priority, at least in some lines. I imagine a mix of good strategy with Express would result in a piss-easy night, but I also imagine that many Express users just say, "fuck it," to strategy and end up with long waits regardless (albeit still shorter than someone without Express or strategy). Express isn't a get out of jail free card, it just means you don't have game the event as much.
>>2821116>I only became a thoosie this year but it’s hard for me to imagine a time when B&M was the best. Maybe in 2000 or soB&M were the kings of the industry from the first Batman invert until pretty recently. You could even make a decent argument that they're still the heavyweight coaster builder in the US.I wonder what RMC's future is like, they were on fire for a while but I don't hear much about their new installations anymore. They could be doing a bunch of business overseas for all I know. But they do the actual fabrication in-house which contributed to Arrow's financial woes later in their history.
>>2821116B&M was the best in the 90s. Their inverts were the best and Kumba was so ahead of its time and made Arrow obsolete. They were still supreme in the 2000s but Intamin rose and started to overshadow them. Their hypers are great and Fury is still one of the best coasters. They make high capacity and reliable crowd pleasers which is why parks love them, however, there are more than enough B&Ms in existence and they will quickly fall behind unless they evolve. Cedar Flags is still working with them but after that giga dive opens I think they’ll start spamming Vekomas throughout the top 15 parks. Hopefully these have unique layouts but more likely they will be clones
>>2821137I find it weird there hasn't been a single Wild Moose. Extremely compact and wild mouse rides are always popular. Maybe the aluminium girder look hurts it too much.
>>2821126Yep, 100% do the holiday with family if you've got the chance. Life doesn't always tell you when it's your last chance to do something together and the knowledge that you got to have a great time together can be a great comfort.Worst moment of my life would have been so much worse had I thought "lets do it some other time"
So this is weird: Disney have built a test drop for the Lion King Ride. I've never seen this done for a water ride at any park (log flumes are very tried and tested) and they didn't do it for Frozen. Some sort of new boat/ride system?
>>2821142I'm surprised by that one too. Looked like a cheap but good family coaster. But often parks have their outlays and additions planned 5+ years in advance of when they open, so it could take time to be worked in somewhere. Might have been a case of being too late to market with a family ride, too.>>2821149Are you sure it's a test drop? Something like that wouldn't be built in-park, it would be in a back lot or at a separate property altogether.
>>2821150They've build a bunch of test stuff for the ride, it's a weird thing to do in backstage areas
>>2821084He has a wife, so the latter. Last I saw him his hair looked like he got dumped in a vat of grease, I don't understand why he thinks it looks good
>>2821116>small drop3 of the top 10 biggest drops are B&M coasters. And another one has B&M trains :) Then you got Intamin with 5 (soon to be 6)
>>2821149>>2821152That is strange. I know Universal built the prototype for MIB in one of the sound stages for all the testing. It was a little track on the ground with one of the ride vehicles circling it. That's the only other example I can think of.
>>2821167I found the video of it https://youtu.be/FaltfjxXIa0
>>2821167Universal used a dune buggy hooked up to a cable and pulley system on an incline to see how fast they'd need to go for the real thing to achieve the desired forces, but that wasn't done on park property
>>2821170For what ride?
>>2821172Oops. Hulk
>>2821125>Try it again, anonOkay.Yep, you’re still wrong.
>>2821164Not all B&M rides are short with generic loop layouts, but the vast majority of short rides with generic loop layouts are made by B&M (or extremely old). Everyone else has left those behind.
>>2821190Give it another go. I haven't given up on you
Going to Epic next Wednesday/Thursday, gonna see if this plan will hold up. Came up with it from watching the wait times through the day.>Spend early entry on Dark Universe, Werewolf once then lap Unchained>Line up for Berk at ~9:45, hit all the rides there while everyone rushes to the Toothless M&G >Get lunch at around 11, probably Mead Hall since I'm already in the land. Watch Untrainable there around this time as well>Midday tends to have the longest waits so probably just do Arcanus and look around Paris and SNW, might do the Celestial rides or the Nintendo minigames if their waits are low enough>Lap Unchained some more if I have nothing else to do, get dinner at Pizza Moon>Get on Ministry at ~8pm, as its waits seem to crater at that point. Either lap it or get on DK as the last ride of the nightOnly thing that's completely left out are MK and Yoshi which can be done during early entry the next day. If you've got just one day then they can still be done in the big midday chunk, they'll just have pretty long waits.
>>2821210I would say to do either Stardust or Ministry rather than monsters for early entry because Unchained is frequently a walk-on. Ministry isn't listed as part of early entry, but they opened it during my two visits this week. Posted wait was 65 minutes when I got in line at 9:30AM today, but it was actually 20. Aside from that, it sounds like a fine plan.
>>2821191When has B&M made a coaster like that in recent years? Their most recent coasters are mostly family inverts, dives, the surf coaster and wing coasters. I think you’re referring to their floorless coasters which they haven’t made in many years
>>2821194You’re still wrong as ever.
>>2821220>When has B&M made a coaster like that in recent years? See >>2821220>family inverts, the surf coaster and wing coastersI won’t count the dives because they’re only 80% boreslop instead of 95%+ like the rest. The dives themselves are distinct to dive coasters even though they transition into boreslop right after them.
/rcg/ is fighting again.
>>2821210do not do the Mario activities if the sun is in the sky, you will die like the niggas on the yoshi ride.lately, epic has been claiming they will close ministry before park close (temporary signs everywhere) but it always stays open until 10, but you're results may differ.you can do laps of unchained after 7 op 8 pm.ultimately, I would check the forecasted UV index for the day and do indoor stuff like ministry when the UV is at it's peak. i'd rather wait in a long line indoors or fully shaded (mk, ministry, stardust, arcanus) than burn to death outside. the memes about no shade are not overblown, if the sun is high in the sky with no clouds, YOU ARE FUCKED.
>>2821213>Stardust early entryProbably a good idea especially with the huge midday gap. Plus it's on the way to Berk so Werewolf and Unchained can be done before it.>>2821240>but it always stays open until 10From my snooping they seem to do it Tokyo Disney style where they want you off the ride by 10, and given the low waits around that time that means it usually closes at around 9:30.>heatProbably another reason to stick to Unchained during the middle of the day. The minigames aren't too important but I have the band from Hollywood so might as well do them if they don't have a line.
Alright, opinions on all HHN Orlando houses after 2-3 runthroughs, starting with the originals.>El ArtistaLegitimately one of the best houses ever at the event. Incredible set pieces, huge amounts of detail, creative costumes, good scares, a tragic story.>Grave of FleshA solid house that probably could have been in a tent rather than a soundstage. Some neat, albeit repetitive, monsters and cool sets. The story is incomprehensible though.>DollsA fun little house that does well playing with scale. Very high variety in costumes and some funny gags. No real wow moment though.>GalknThis house really should have been in a soundstage. Some setlieces scream for more space. It's still good though, with some cool costumes and an awesome finale.>Hatchet and ChainsMy second favorite house of the night. I love the Wild West setting, and the demons are pretty cool. Less family than I expected, which is nice. Really makes good use of it's limited space.
>>2821253>FNAFThe intro is awesome and will no doubt make plenty of fans lose their shit. I appreciate that Universal actually went all out with animatronics and puppets. That said, there's not much interesting in terms of set design outside of the intro, and the non-animatronic scares are pretty lame. Kind of worse on repeat walkthroughs, though that's kind of a good thing given how long the lines are.>WWEProbably the most middle-of-the-road house you can get at HHN. Nothing bad but nothing super noteworthy either. Fans of Bray Wyatt will probably love it though, and I did enjoy two of the scenes.>JasonProbably the 'scariest' house this year. The sets are only just okay, but the scares are relentless. The final quarter of the house is just scare after scare after scare. Going through this with wimps around you will be the highlight of the night, but if the others around you don't scare easily, it won't leave a huge impression. Also needed more part 2 Jason.>TerrifierNot a franchise that appeals to me, but the house was fun. The Art actors do a good job embodying the character, and there are some clever scares. The sets aren't going to wow you, but the house is long. The wet/dry thing is a total gimmick.>FalloutDogshit. Imagine a house with deathclaws, supermutants, bloatflies, cazadores, ghouls, and yao guai. Now throw that all in the garbage because this based on the gay-ass TV show which has none of those (except ghouls but they still don't show up lol). 90% of the jumpscares are just normal fucking humans saying some retarded catchphrase. The sets are bad. The power armor puppet is hilariously awful in terms of movement. Probably the second worst house I've ever seen at HHN.Overall, this is a really solid year. Every house is at least good, with several greats. Only Fallout is a blemish.
Knoebels remains based
>>2821264Very soulful. I hope I can make it up there at some point.
>>2821254I'm debating whether or not I should do Jason as my first house. I've noticed when I do HHN only the first 3 houses really startle me and once I'm adapted none of the scares really register for me. I'm the asshole that just stares at the scare actor smiling giving them the thumbs up, but that kinda sucks because it's only fun when you feel the anxiety. Sounds like Jason first overall could be decently traumatizing.
>>2821265It’s far and away the most soulful park. The family owners build and modify a lot of the rides.
>>2821267If you're doing early entry, I recommend Terrifier first since it gets really busy later and Jason can be done right after. If you're not doing that, Jason first may be a good idea depending on when you get in. Just beware it is also very popular and can get huge waits.
>>2821231One more time
>>2820877We have different approaches to this. This is not asking for the lowest rung accommodations you are making it sound, like the value resorts are not the same as going to a hostel or Shithole Motel. You have a base level of standards at a Disney resort, there are too many benefits staying at a resort for me to decide elsewhere. That is already spending up as you can get off-site cheaper. This then becomes a debate on what you are doing bothering to travel there. If your entire vacation is around staying at a hotel, sure, make that your main expense. There are places where you are staying at the hotel for close to the entire time and going back to that might be. For Disney? You are there for the parks and experiences, not to sit at a hotel the entire week. I would much rather pay up for the better experiences, dining, and even longer experiences vs having frivolous bullshit you won't use, which after a certain point that is what amenities are. Value resorts are also more lively, and it makes it more engaging. If you want quiet you do not go to this resort
>2821312You wouldn’t have to play this silly game if you didn’t try to make such a bad point in the first place. No more (you)s for you.
anyone been to the japanese parks as a foreigner? planning on booking flights in a few months and want to hit both the disney parks and the universal park whilst im there.
>>2821348I accept your concession.
>>2821264That’s awesome. They retired the best carousel category years ago also because Knoebels always won it. Their food is also decently priced unlike park food at pretty much every other park
>>2821264Their food is legit great
>>2821236The last coaster B&M made that wasn’t a family coaster, wing coaster, surf coaster, or dive coaster was Decepticoaster in 2021 which is a clone of Hulk with modifications to some of the inversions to make them less intense. Then Monster at Grona Lund in the same year, their latest non-family invert. Their latest hypers came the year before with Candymonium and Orion (Orion being a giga.. to those counting the 300ft drop) which have no inversions. They haven’t made a generic loop short layout non-wing coaster in over a decade, they’ve been primarily pooping out dive coasters during the last ten years.
>>2821349Did both Disney parks and Fuji-Q last year but not Universal.
>>2821425did you stay on property? im probably getting an airbnb and im just hoping i can get in and out of the parks fairly easily. how did you find tokyo disneyland? not sure if it worth going since i went magic kingdom last year. disney sea looks good though what did you think?
>>2821431I stayed in Odaiba at the Ariake Washington. It was only $50 a night for a nice enough accomodation with a complimentary shuttle to the parks. Did one day at Land and two at Sea. I think Land is worth it unless you're pressed for time. It's got a lot of shared attractions with MK, but they are generally better versions. Sea is definitely a better use of your time though. Amazing park.
>>2821437what were crowds and wait times like? i thought the queue times would be shorter but i just took a quick look and the times look the same if not worse than orlando
>>2821459Crowds were rough, but waits honestly weren't too bad. Everything got really long waits at times, but also would drop to 45 or lower. The two longest waits at that time were also Soarin' and Midway Mania, which are both skippable. Another noteworthy thing is that Indy has the best Single Rider line of all time. You can have a 60 minute normal queue and just walk on in Single Rider. I personally recommend two days at the park so you can take your time and explore all the neat little corners around, but if you only have one day, you can still probably do most rides you want. Not sure about Fantasy Springs though, as that was in tech rehearsal at the time and I used timed passes to get on the rides.

>>2821013Checked on B&M. Penguin Trek was rough AF despite being brand new. They nailed Falcons Fury, but the speakers on the trains stopped working almost immediately after opening. How fucking difficult is it to keep the speakers working?
>>2821509Busch Gardens Howl-o-scream is the best Halloween/ Scare House event I’ve ever been to and I’ve done them all. It doesn’t rely on IP and has to actually create real experiences. Their scare zones are higher quality than most houses…. Would HIGHLY recommend
>>2821511>I'd love to see regional parks that draw more from their region's first nations mythsCan you imagine the bitchfit those people would throw if parks started naming/theming rides after Indian shit? You cannot win with those retards>>2821513Penguin Trek is a B&M at Sea World, Falcon's Fury is a drop tower at Busch Gardens. Did you mean Iron Gwazi? Electronics on rides are a challenge, they have to survive a lot of vibration whenever they're running.
>>2820924Not hates, but my wife is very neutral on parks in general so any visits have to be looped into an overall trip. I’ll be able to drag her to epic in the next few years, but any “offbrand” park is hard to swing.Haven’t got to dolly world yet, thinking I’ll head there on my own but I’m sure people will think I’m a closeted faggot for doing a solo trip there.

Disney has registered domains for “Disneyland Arabia” and “Emirates Disneyland.” Both possible names for the upcoming resort in Abu Dhabi
>>2821742Seems like such an odd, risky venture from them. Have they learnt nothing from Euro-Disney? Investors won't pump in money if it isn't immediately successful and the parks get left to rot.
>>2821750It's a licensing deal, the Arabs are paying for everything.
>>2821751So was Eurodisney. Doesn't matter if someone else is putting their money on the line if their incompetence ends up doing a shitload of damage to your brand (see pic related).
Chances the company shuts Euro Disney down after the ME park opens?
>>2821752Paris was more of a joint venture. This is a Tokyo situation where the company that owns the other Abu Dhabi theme parks is paying for the Disney name and characters.

>>2821766There are some criminally stupid people in this general sometimes. You'd think being such a small obscure general on /trv/ of all places would weed them out but no, they still make it here somehow. Anyways, I like Animal Kingdom.
>>2821763The chance is greater than 0% but less than 5%
>>2821754Zero percent, they will not go through the humiliation of a park closing due to financials they will never hear the end of it. Plus the resort is built up already. That is also part of why you won’t see many new parks open anymore, they’d rather fill what they have Only ones I could see shutting down are the China ones if relations get bad enough that war is happening
>>2821772Are you under the age of 13? Everyone knows Disney is just for kids. They don’t even have any actual rides, other than kiddie and beginner rides.
>>2821775True. I did take my kids to Disney though as a rite of passage. To me it goes>children under 10 -> Disney >tweens and early teens -> Universal >older teens and adults -> Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Of course there’s a lot of overlap with shows and exhibits and stuff, but as for rides I think that’s a pretty solid representation of the progression
>>2821772Animal kingdom at night is genuinely phenomenal, sucks that since its basically a zoo it has to operate in zoo time aka closing at 5-6pm. Which pissed me off, if busch garden can operate at night with howl o scream then AK sure as fuck can.

Alton Towers have announced their new 2026 ride. Not Project Horizon but a Bluey coaster. Will probably be a kiddie coaster along the lines of the duplo coaster (but hopefully longer). Hope you've all got your plane tickets booked for the cred!
Dubious source but The Sun are reporting that Universal secured Harry Potter rights for the UK park.https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/36608058/universal-harry-potter-uk-theme-park-delay/Given they don't want to eat into the other parks what options are there for theming. Quidditch world cup ride (the coaster next to the Jurrasic park section looked suspiciously like a riding coaster)? Chamber of Secrets? Would be criminal if it was another HP land instead of a LOTR land though.
>>2821828Sounds just like the sort of thing this board will go crazy for, lmao >my kids fuckin love Bluey tho, no cap
>>2821840It's going to get stupidly disproportionate queues for the quality of ride. Here's hoping they put some actual effort into theming it.
Today was an awesome day at Hollywood Studios. The sky was overcast so the heat was never a big problem. We rode everything, didn't stay for Fantasmic because we're going to get up early again tomorrow and pushing ourselves to stay from morning until close would've tuckered us out too much. We're going to catch Fantasmic later in the week on one of our days where we spend a half day and come back to the hotel for a while, and we'll go back out and catch that show. But if we were only here for one day and could sleep in tomorrow, we really had enough stamina to make ourselves stay all the way until park close, which is pretty wild for us. Not having the sun beating down on you helps a lot.
>>2821832I'm of the opinion that making Hogwarts just be the queue for FJ was a mistake and given that 90% of the potter story takes place in the castle, the castle should have been the entire land. It should be one gigantic mall-like structure that is the size of one of the IOA islands that fully fleshes out the interior of hogwarts. You could do demonstrations in the classrooms of wizard bullshit, the VR broom simulator they were developing, a FJ clone, etc. You just breeze through the queue now since the lines for the ride are so low and it feels like an obvious goldmine they cant mine. That's kinda what I was hoping Epic was gonna be. I dont think there's any other film location they havent already featured.

>>2821386Everything you just mentioned except the dives are generic loop layout coasters (and again the dives are 80% generic loop layouts). >>2821985>>2821943Sorry guess I phrased that confusingly. I’m not going to the parks for free, I’ll just be within 2 hours of all of them on business so I’m making use of that. Admission is all I’ll pay (and I have a gold pass so actually not even that for half of those.
>>2821944Orion and Candymonium don’t have any loops. I’m really not quite sure what you mean by generic loop layout anyways. Hulk is from the 90s. I wouldn’t call any of their 90s layouts “generic”. Those layouts are all intense even today. They used a lot of the same elements but when you say generic it implies they were standard. B&M inverts are still great today and their closest “competitor” was the Vekoma SLC which was the same basic cloned layout (some had a helix). The Batman invert layout was cloned several times but most of the others are unique.
>>2821772I want to like Animal Kingdom but there’s just not enough to do there. For a (almost) 30-year-old Disney theme park that they’ve spent billions on, it should be a lot more fleshed out by now. It’s still a half day park that closes early with barely any new attractions for most of that time. Even the stuff they’re getting is mostly retheming. It’s definitely a park hopper park, spending your entire day here is a waste.
>>2821932That’s a lot of coasters. Don’t sit on the dark rides though. Knoebels has the haunted house and Black Diamond. Hershey has an enclosed coaster with dark ride elements, Laff Trakk and also the factory ride at Chocolate World (outside the park). Great Adventure has Justice League which is a nice rip off of Spiderman, Dari Knight is an enclosed mouse with dark ride elements, and Houdini is amazing. Kings Dominion has Boo Blasters.. I enjoy it. Epic is self explanatory. If these are open, it’s the post-season for regional parks so who knows.

>>2822140When it’s $200 and $289 or more some days, it could be worth it depending on how often you go. I took advantage of the single use fast lanes but those are only available after 2pm and not always available. They’re also priced based on demand.

>>2822269You're going to see a shitload of drink bottles in the bushes going forward at knotts
>>2822265Lol nope, this will just increase the times as people will try and sneak shit on rather than pay for the locker. If they really cared about efficiency they'd offer two sided lockers
>>2822207Expedition theme park is the only one I can stand. Poseidon Entertainment was ok until he came out as a SUPER woke anti-White SJW after visiting a European theme park and calling just about everything so racist he’s going to have nightmares for the rest of his life FFS>expedition theme park is fucking ACE tho
>>2822280The idea of going to a theme park with my mom is pure nightmare fuel>always go open to close and being multiple change of clothes in my car for everytime I get soaked on water rides The nagging, the nagging, the nagging!!!!!
>>2822265This is why I will never get the complaints of Hershey slow operationsI will take a little longer waiting time if that means that I can keep what I have with me and just put it in their cubbies for the few minute I am on the ride and not pay $30 for lockers each day
>>2822398Which euro theme park did he go to so I can add it to my list
>>2822406At least they have an excuse. What’s Kings Island’s excuse for constantly dispatching Orion half full despite requiring lockers?

They can't just do what Universal did again, they don't have the rights for that/maybe they want to do their own thingSo you might get your wish. Not sure if I believe that Hogwarts is going to happen at Universal UK.
>never rode KA or TTD I feel like I’ll always be a virgin. TT2 is great but it isn’t TTD.
>>2822483>never rode TTD>TT2 is great but it isn’t TTDHow would you know
>>2822490Far less acceleration.
>>2822499But how would you know 1 is better than 2 without having rode 1?
>>2822506I don’t recall saying one of them was better than the other. In fact if I had to guess I bet I would have preferred 2 due to the longer length, the backwards portion and the spike.
>>2822508>I don’t recall saying one of them was better than the other.Correct; you implied it. But how would you know one version is better than the other without having been on both?
>>2822512I did no such thing.
>>2822515I just said you did. There's my proof. Where's yours?

>>2822528Well looks like we’re in a he said she said situation (you’re the she btw).
Is Epic worth it right now? My mom says one of her travel agent friends is there right now and she says it sucks. Lines too long and they keep breaking. According to queue-times.com though that’s not true.
>>2822399I had similar problems but I sidestepped them carefully.1. If she wanted to rope drop at 7 AM she could, but I wouldn’t join her.2. If we needed to split up to ride different things we did (didn’t happen much). Overall it was great. A little compromise or “no deals” here and there.
I was in Epcot today and the girls who work in the Norway pavilion are so beautiful it hurts.
>>2822499I’ve ridden both several times. TT2 is better than TTD. The only part of the original acceleration that mattered was the initial “gut punch” which you can also still get on Storm Runner and Xcelerator. They accelerate from 0 at the same rate as TTD. And the anticipation of that gut punch which made a lot of people nervous. But like other launches you got used to the gut punch after a few rides and it not longer was a gut punch (but it was of course still really fun). Going backwards at 101mph up and down the spike and then getting a boost to 120mph is a much better ride experience than the original. Especially in the front row if you’re lucky to get it. I always used to enjoy watching it fly down the launch track and up the top hat and now’s it’s even more fun to watch it fly up and down the spike then fly forward up the top hat. TT2 does sometimes have a vibration issue toward the back. I dunno what causes it because I’ve ridden the same seat in the same color train on different days and it barely vibrated the second time. Front row doesn’t vibrate but you can hear the fiberglass shell against the air resistance
>>2822573If it’s similar to Xcelerator and Storm Runner then I guess I feel better about it. Those rides are far slower though aren’t they? Was it really the same?
>>2822269I switched to the drink pass (paper cup) instead of the reusable cup because they don’t let you bring the cup on many coasters chain-wide.>>2822270Unless they have metal detectors, a phone is considered “secure” if it’s in a zipper or cargo pocket. Most people just put it in their pocket and nobody checks it. Unless Knott’s is different. The three Cedar Point coasters with metal detectors have free small lockers for phones and keys and what not. If Knott’s has metal detectors and paid lockers I don’t expect that to last very long. It makes it an up charge attraction
>>2822573>>2822574I believe Maxx Force accelerates faster than Dragster did
>>2822574They accelerate at the same rate from 0 but TTD and Ka kept going down their longer launch tracks. The initial gut punch or kick from 0 is the same on all of them but some thoosies like to claim one of them is the best over the others. You definitely felt the sense of speed from continuing to accelerate on the sratas but now you’re feeling the sense of speed 100+ mph for much longer on TT2. It the gut punch that is missed, not so much the continued acceleration.
>>2822577It does. I’ve never been on it. But some thoosies say it doesn’t “feel” the same as the hydraulic launches, implying the hydraulic felt faster even though on paper that doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe somebody here who has been on both can chime in. I don’t see anybody arguing that about Do-Dodonpa though, everybody who rode that said it was a true gut punch. On ride forces the hydraulic launch forces aren’t constant acceleration, they go up and down in a very small amount of time that I never noticed but others claim they did. Something to do with the cable. The only air launch I’ve done is Powder Keg which was very tame
Can't wait to ride Tron after seeing Ares, will be gigakino.>>2822570I wouldn't pay day ticket price for Epic. AP, sure.
>>2822572>live in the gibs capital of the world>still want to be wagies in florida
>>2822581Cool. Guess I’m not missing too much then.
>>2822583They don’t even offer APs for epic yet.
>>2822577On paper Stealth is the current champion for acceleration. Day to day it's been measured slightly behind so it's either aged out of the record or they don't run it at full power.
>>2822572Yep>dat thicc girl on the right>dat Heidi Klum looking girl in the sun dressFlorida Sun must be murder on Scandinavian skin though.
>>2822655I pretty sure it never even reaches the speed they post on the updated sign. ETR also mentioned that Kingda Ka and TTD also always launched to lower top speeds than advertised.
Universal UK may have an official name announced soon. They've just registered a trademark for... Universal United Kingdom ResortBig news!
>>2822570I'm the guy from >>2821210, I would say it's worth it, you can easily avoid long lines if you know when to get in line (except for DK). Only ride I didn't do was Fyre Drill by choice and I even got to do multiple rerides on Stardust and Ministry.
>>2822655>>2822664Stealth’s on paper stats are definitely wrong. On the ride forces database, Stealth’s longitudinal forces show that it accelerates slower than Xcelerator, Storm Runner, Ka, Dragster, and Maxx Force plus it peaks just under 2 Gs while Xcelerator and Storm Runner peak at (and slightly over) 2 Gs. The graph for Xcelerator and Storm Runner show they accelerate slightly faster than Ka or Dragster and Storm Runner is similar if not a teeny tiny bit better. If the data is accurate, I’d give the win to Maxx Force and call Thorpe fucking liars.
>>2822719Meant to say Maxx Force is similar if not a teeny tiny bit better, not Storm Runner. It’s the current king of launch coasters. Too bad it’s likely down for the season. Those thoosies who think it’s weaker than hydraulic are probably just used to the launch forces. Launches used to make my stomach tickle, especially the punchier launches. Now they all kinda feel similar even the remaining hydraulics (I haven’t been on Maxx Force). I still like the punchier launches for the Gs. Intamin’s are the best magnetic launches IMO
Any good parks near Chicago besides SFGAm?
>>2822741Cedar Point is only like 5 hours away
>>2822756I can only go on weekends and that park is honestly trash on weekends even with fast lane, which costs $200.
>>2822771Damn. Did not know that. I’ve been wanting to go but didn’t know it was $200 for a fast pass. How are you supposed to ride all of the rides if you’re only there for a day…
>>2820706What do you guys consider a decent budget for a day out at a park?
>>2822773With a fast pass or possibly on weekdays. I think fast passes are cheaper on weekdays too. Even their fast pass lines tended to be 30 minutes or more for some rides on the Saturday I went. Their merges often come very early.
>>2822775I’ve done $0 before. Season pass with free parking, no merchandise and I brought my own food. For me it’s just no unnecessary purchases. Only get fast lane if necessary. Only get food if necessary, bringing it in if possible.
>>2822773$300. It was $290 two weeks ago during Labor Day weekend on Sunday (which was also their busiest day so far in 2025). I didn’t buy it, but I did opt for individual fast lanes which totaled up to $100. Except Siren’s Curse, I used my 1x FL I get with my pass. They wanted $40 for it!
for a 4 night stay at cedar point, is hotel breakers / lighthouse point really worth the $800 extra over the express hotel?
As an Indiana Jones fan I'm happy they're giving him a ride in Animal Kingdom, I don't give a fuck what all the fags say about it "not fitting". I don't have any ill will towards Dinosaurbros though. It's a nice ride as it is.But the show in Hollywood studios is really rough nowadays. I don't know if it was just an off-day or something but they didn't even properly use the cairo set last time I saw it. They just did a bunch of mildly impressive acrobatics on the floormat. Also, am I crazy? I thought I remembered that at the very beginning, Indy would crash in from way up above on a rope.Personally, I'd nix the multi-set thing and make just one really detailed static set. Cut out all the cringe dated fake filmmaking parts. I know that people may argue that this show is one of the last remnants of classic Hollywood Studios, but I'd rather it be good and increase its longevity than it be true to something that doesn't exist anymore.
>>2822793>But the show in Hollywood studios is really rough nowadays. I don't know if it was just an off-day or something but they didn't even properly use the cairo set last time I saw it. They just did a bunch of mildly impressive acrobatics on the floormat. That happened when I saw it. It had been raining that day and they told us that the show would be altered for the safety of the performers.
>>2822793They did all the stuff when I saw it.
Do you think Disney regrets destroying Splash Mountain? The Tiana ride is so much worse and everyone knows it.
Just visited the Epic Universe. I'm in love with Victoria Frankenstein and she's in love with me>>2822801If not now they'll regret it later. The fact that it's still Splash Mountain everywhere else is also pretty retarded.
>>2822787Right now or during the summer? The location can’t be beat no matter the season but I don’t know if it’s $200 extra a night great to you. For me it can be and it absolutely is during the summer because of the beach. Thoosies don’t care about the beach though. Or the pools (pools are closed for the season). Or the Starbucks and chain restaurants. So it’s just a hotel connected to Cedar Point with similar rooms to Express. But being able to just walk into Cedar Point is pretty great and saves you from walking to your car and waiting to leave. Not an issue if you leave early but if you leave when they close it could take you an hour or more to get out depending on where you’re stuck.
>>2822793I just think it’s funny that they made a clone of Indy’s layout (well 95% a clone) and ride system but filled it with dinosaurs and parts of dinosaurs in the dark and now 30 years later it’s going to be gutted and turned into Indy. Should have been Indy from the start even if out of place (but they didn’t do that back then)
>>2822819Just Tokyo right?
>>2822839I thought it was also still in Paris for whatever reason
>>2822831>but if you leave when they close it could take you an hour or more to get out depending on where you’re stuck.welp hotel breakers it is!
>>2822848Paris never got it. That's why they're getting Lion King now.
>>2822860I was gonna say $200 a night for a room in/ next to a park isn’t bad. Esp if it saves you an hour stuck in traffic. I stopped at a red roof inn owned by poos the other night on the side of the interstate in bum duck nowhere the other week and it was $120 with taxes and poojeet fees

>>2822801I bet that, at the very least, the OLC guys still laugh about when they go for a drink.>>2822819Monsters Unchained is fucking awesome. Highlight of the park along with Stardust based on my recent trip.
>>2822990To be fair I'm not sure replacing the Jungle Cruise with Incredibles is any less laughable.
>>2822998Oh, I'm no fan of OLC's Adventureland plans, but at least the Incredibles are a marketable brand. OLC is seeing dollar signs there. Tiana is an unpopular princess from a movie that flopped who doesn't sell merch or resonate with the majority of Disney's clientele. Anyone business-minded could see she was a terrible replacement for Splash, but the American execs care more about social agenda than money.
>>2822968>>2822949ALSO:Heavy's Sandvich ZoneChaos at Engineer's Workshop dark ride.
>>2822793The scene transitions are just way too slow which really hurts it. Unfortunately it would probably be not much more to replace it completely than retool it so any work done on it may be a monkey paw.You don't want something like the Alice in Wonderland show from Paris where they forced a really weird show into a stage that was way too big for what they could put on.
>>2822946>a thousand bucksIt’s more than two orders of magnitude less than that actually. Six Flags charges $100 for 17 months of parking and entry to their parks. Divide that by their 42 parks and it’s about $2.40 per park for 17 months, or less than $2 per year.
>>2822860Good choice>>2822907Once you’re out of the causeway it’s fine. The Express hotel is right at the entrance to the causeway. It’s getting out that’s the problem. As I said above, if you leave on a busy day when the park closes (like during Halloweekends) you can get stuck getting out of the lot depending on where you’re parked. Sometimes for up to two hours if you’re really unlucky. Being able to just walk to your room (a shorter walk than walking to the lot) is the best perk.
>>2822984If you’re wrong you have no choice but to lie. Comes with the territory of being wrong.
