I'm currently aimlessly traveling around the USA. I guess you could call it a road trip, although I have flown a couple parts of it. I'm not doing anything special, I am just going to different random places and exploring the local area a little. I have little interest in tourist things or in shopping. Most of the time I sit in my hotel room playing video games, and I also work from my laptop and I'm taking an online class. Sometimes I try a new restaurant, and on occasion I have spent entite days just walking around a city, checking out the parks and such, although those are usually full of homeless people, or that has been my experience in at least 3 different areas of the country so far. The most I have gone is about 6 hours straight of walking which I really regretted afterward simply because my feet were so sore. But like I said, I mostly just stay in and play games or watch movies during my free time.

I am mostly happy with this, but I wish I could find a travel buddy to accompany me for companionship and sex. However, having some life experience under my belt, I would expect anyone who would take a stranger up on this offer to be insane and/or to rob me eventually. Plus I really don't want to answer to someone else right now--I have taken almost no pictures and I don't use social media or instagram and I like it that way. Therefore, I will not seek a travel buddy. I'll probably settle down soon and rent an apartment when I find a place I like.

That is my blog post. I hope you enjoyed it. ;)

My goal is really just to find a place to live. If my budget runs out, I will simply stay wherever I am, but if I'm lucky that won't happen for a couple of months. I am pretty good at budgeting.

I'm strongly considering buying a van or truck to "glamp" in (live out of) if I don't find somewhere I really want to put roots down soon. I think if I play my cards right I can afford a Ford Transit which should be perfect for that. I'm currently driving a small SUV but I'm not married to it and I left it behind when I chose to fly.

So far I prefer the Midwest.
>>

>My goal
Well, that's my end goal. Right now I am just living and trying to get a feel for local culture during the occasions where I venture out. I guess I'm operating off of a combination of necessities and vibe.

My impression so far is that people are sort of the same everywhere, although local culture does vary. One thing that bothers me is the widespread crime, poverty, and homelessness. Doesn't seem to matter where I go, I haven't had to go too far to find it, even hundreds or thousands of miles apart. I also dislike being around poor nonwhite people for the most part, especially blacks and Hispanics. In some places the poor whites aren't much better, either. (Not that I'm not poor, but at least I'm not a predatory criminal lowlife.)

I have driven a total of 16 hours this week so far. I think I should probably get an oil change before I do it again, but I might just do it myself in the big box parking lot because this area doesn't seem to have those "15 minute stay in your car" oil change shops I am used to seeing. But I don't want to deal with changing the oil filter on this vehicle as I haven't done it yet, so doing it on the road seems like a bad idea (sometimes the filter wrench isn't adequate or it's in a cramped location)

I'm using the term glamp facetiously, but I see a lot of YouTubers and influencers doing the vanlife meme for a short period before going back to their normal lives. It seems very doable, especially with a more down to earth approach, like recognizing the fact that using "composting toilet" is literally just shitting into a bucket with sawdust in it. I'm not very handy, but I think I'm good enough to wire up an inverter, a power station, and a few miscellaneous amenities.
>>
I'd like to add that sushi seems like a fucking scam. I've had everything from grocery store sushi to a plate that cost me over $100 and it all seems roughly the same. Maybe my palate just isn't refined enough for it, and I do always enjoy it, but the price doesn't seem to matter at all. It's literally rice, seaweed, and raw fish, maybe with a bit of veggies.

I learned to eat with chopsticks and other white people made fun of me for it. But that part is a lot more fun than eating it with a fork tbdesu.
>>
I notice you said travel buddy and not woman. Might you be interested in gay sex?
I am seeking a homosexual travel buddy.
>>
>>2822315
depends on whether or not you're smol and feminine
>>
>>2822318
my voice is fruity, my body is large gorilla
:(
also bisexuals are the WORST
>>
>>2822320
Well, I hope there's someone out there for you. Personally, I want someone cute and little who will do my laundry and shave off their body hair. And of course plap plap plap plap plap.

One thing I'm having some trouble with is my schedule or routine. I find it hard to maintain a regular one when I'm sleeping in unfamiliar places, especially when unexpected things arise. I suppose I will just have to get used to it.
>>
>>2822323
>and shave off their body hair.
pedo
>>
>>2822324
Sometimes I enjoy a nice bush, but definitely not on a dude...
>>
>>2822325
>when it comes to men I want a 10 year old boy
>>
>>2822326
I really didn't mean to offend you. I should have been more tactful in my response. I apologize.
>>
>>2822327
I think we've lost a generation of bisexuals to this femboy shit. You can't even be a flamer anymore without people expecting you to do trans shit.
>>
>>2822333
>You can't even be a flamer anymore without people expecting you to do trans shit.
What does this mean? If you're "too gay" they assume you're trans?
>>
>>2822335
behaving femininely carries an expectation of crossdressing and shaving your body and dressing female to please weirdo bisexual men like you who seem to REALLY just want a 10 year old boy who will submit to them
all these cute and hairless shit, it's pretty pedo
>>
>>2822339
18+ only here... pedo hysteria has gone too far, same with rape hysteria. The terms become meaningless when you use them so cavalierly.
>>
>>2822342
you sexually described a 10 year old boy
you want
small
hairless
10 year old boy fits the bill - if it were legally available to you, you would not reject it
>>
>>2822343
What you're describing is prepubescent. Kids are effectively genderless or non-sexual from a mentally healthy adult perspective. Being post-pubescent and hairless does not a pedo make.
>>
>>2822347
You idealize features found naturally in 10 year old boys. You clearly want cock, and a hairless body. The way to get that naturally, is to have sex with a 10 year old boy. If that were legal, you would do it.
>>
>>2822349
I originally posted about seeking a female of unspecified age (18+ implied). I think you're just upset that I'm not interested in a "gorilla" lol. I already apologized and your accusation is far worse than whatever minor offense I committed by expressing a lack of interest.
>>
>>2822354
nothing in your OP text says female - it says travel buddy, a gender neutral term, and it repeats it twice
notice you won't outright deny that if it were legal you would indeed fuck a 10 year old boy...
just admit that's what you want
>>
>>2822355
The woman in the pic looks about 22 to me, though she has some very light and fine arm hair, which is also sexy
>>
>>2822356
you are sexually interested in males (neither of us are disputing that, right?)
and IF you were to be with a male, you would want him to have hairless genitals, as a 10 year old boy would naturally
>>
>>2822355
Also, you are bitchier as a gay man than a typical woman. Why are you like this? Why would anyone want a big hairy dude with extra baggage? If you are into that, I wish you the best...
>>
>>2822302
>for companionship and sex
>>
>>2822361
Gross!
>>
>>2822355
OP here, I posted a picture of a heterosexual couple. Based on your posts, it sounds like you are merely upset that you are a Sasquatch rather than a "femboy". Learn to accept rejection with some humility!

Bruh, you gay.

Also, America has nothing. Go /out/ at least if you want to get anything from this country.

Travel companions are more of a pain in the ass than anything. I've always been glad to part ways with the people I've traveled with, and vice versa. They're always in a huge hurry to get to their destination and be free of my company.
>>2822307
Where did you get your car from? Don't tell me you're stealing cars along the way and abandoning them when you get tired of them...
Go to Walmart for an oil change. The wait can be long, but prices are much lower than the Jiffy Lube shops.
>people are sort of the same anywhere
You need to get an atlas and take the little roads to the little places, instead of staying on the major highways that connect large towns. All the big American towns are same-same. Same old franchises, strip malls, wide boulevards lined with traffic lights, mutt soup of indeterminate ethnicities, hustle bustle too busy to talk kinda bullshit.
>>2822309
Vanlife will have you spending more time out in the backwoods (where there is free camping) and less time near the cities where the social life happens. Easy to become extremely isolated from humanity when living the free camping lifestyle. My town currently has an ancient Ford Econoline van for sale for $1200.
>Midwest
I strongly recommend northern Michigan for vanlife. The forest camping is beautiful, the lakeside towns are reasonably attractive and respectable, and a state park pass will enable you to take hot showers and hang out in state parks to your heart's content.
>>
However, if you do fall in with one of the vandwelling "tribes", you can spend months cruising from one site to another with them, sharing their life dramas, sometimes cooking meals communally, drinking and smoking round the campfire, meeting newcomers, and generally living the free nomadic life. You'll meet some really interesting characters in the vandwelling community, hopefully making more friends than enemies. Going exploring on your own for a few days before reuniting at the next campsite gives you the perfect balance of independence and companionship.

I did it myself for a few months in 2018.

Mental illness is very rampant in America, both among straights and among the alphabet people as well.
The best travel companion is one who has his/her own vehicle. A driver - passenger traveling relationship will always be very unequal. As a driver, you will either take advantage of your passenger's dependence on you, or you will be taken advantage of and become your passenger's uncompensated chauffeur, going where he wants to go when he wants to go there.

I picked up a hitchhiker in Vermont once who got very angry when I missed his exit. I told him to calm down, took the next exit and circled back into town. Just before we parted ways, he told me he had just gotten released from a decade in prison in Arizona for murdering someone. I handed him a can of chili and wished him well.

>>2822539
>Don't tell me you're stealing cars along the way and abandoning them when you get tired of them...
No, I'm not a criminal, I bought out someone's loan. It's a good car.
>>2822542
>>2822541
Thanks for the tips. I sure as heck am not picking up any other travelers. You make van life sound very comfy.
>>2822428
I will go /out/ soon as I can get a good vehicle for it or at least when I settle in somewhere I plan on staying for a while. I think >>2822539 is correct and I've stayed too close to the highway most of the time, with some exceptions.

Also, I apologize for my provocative comments, I was merely trying to meme but I have never used this board.
>>
>>2822541
I've met some of these van-nomads and they seem prone to scams and theft.

I've arrived in a new state, this time down south. A cashier at a gas station in her early 20's with jet black hair and bright blue eyes said y'all at least five times during our brief interaction. I might go back and propose to her.

I got a flat tire on the way here, but I changed it without incident.

I met a skinny 50 year old boyish-looking lady in Slab City who would've fucked me in the back of her van for putting $30 of gas in her tank, but I got grossed out by her onion breath while slow dancing in front of the music stage, and she took that as a rejection. BTW I was a 22 year old virgin at the time, and she had survived severe liver cancer (the ordeal had disappeared all of her body fat).
>scams
Never talk about your funds or income with anyone you meet. Let them draw their own conclusions.
>theft
You do have an enclosed van, after all. Pretty easy to keep your shit safe. Only the most brazen nutcases would even think of trying to force their way into a van that may be occupied by an armed individual.
>>
>>2822802
>who would've fucked me in the back of her van for putting $30 of gas in her tank
I don't know how to read sexual cues at all unless someone is very direct, and even then they're usually not very literal about it, so I tend to miss the point regardless. That's probably why I've only dated girls who made the first move... and probably why they were all skanks.
>bad breath
I will never understand this. Hygiene just isn't that hard.
>Never talk about your funds or income with anyone you meet. Let them draw their own conclusions
Good advice, I will try to remember this

You lose your novelty factor on the second or third or fourth time you come skulking around to chit-chat with the pretty cashier while she's working, trying to get up the courage to ask for her number. Even if she does like you enough not to see your recurring visits as pestering or harassment, your orbiting behavior (circle around, leave, circle around again, etc.) is beta energy in her eyes.
>>
>>2823073
I interpreted that in a much more general way. I was joking about approaching her again, and the idea of orbiting around without ever making a move wouldn't have occurred to me. I'd never intentionally return a second time unless I intended on making a move.

I have arrived in my third (and final) state for the time being. I'm passively looking for rentals and trying to figure out which parts of this city are decent. DESU, my initial impression is that the "hillbilly" southern states are much more comfy than those with arguably better reputations. Kentucky might be the most beautiful part of the country I've ever seen.

Which city are you looking at?

So little public land in central Kentucky, sadly. You can only cruise the back roads looking at all the beautiful country estates with their perfectly balanced expanses of woods, pastures and ponds, knowing that you cannot set foot on any of them, much less get invited to some aristocrat's house party, sip on some mint juleps and meet some impishly charming damsel.

Kentucky's towns are not quite as charming. The town centers tend to be clogged with traffic due to the antiquated roads, but hell, I guess that's better than every town having its historic core being blown out by soulless four-lane boulevards like Florida or Texas. As someone who likes short leisurely cruises between free campsites, driving across Kentucky was a frustrating and stressful experience. Everyone is sooo goddamn impatient on the roads, and gravel pullouts are very few.

I did find this cool creekside site in eastern Kentucky, which is the more hillbilly part of the state. The bluegrass country is very different from the east.

After dinner in my van under the Jimmie Green Bridge, I climbed a steep, single-lane road and encountered the trail to Koger Arch. It was so enormous that it couldn't be captured in a single photo - and besides, I'd left my phone behind. An entire forest of mature trees grew on top of the arch.

That trip was a nail-biter. My shitbox van had problems with overheating on the climbs, bald rotted tires, and a bad wheel bearing that made a loud groaning noise when driving and made the steering feel really wonky. Nobody had my size of tires in stock, so replacement was not an option unless I wanted to sit around for a week waiting for a delivery. During a climb I often had to stop and wait for the engine to cool down before resuming onward travel. But the old gal never quit on me, even on the arduous ascent to the Cumberland Gap overlook.

With everything so green and idyllic, it perplexed me how so many people went about with sour/frustrated/angry expressions on their faces, instead of living as carefree as Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden, laying in a hammock all day sipping moonshine and hanging out with their besties. Why does life have to be so complicated? Why can't we all just cruise around and camp in the woods and chit-chat with strangers and live free in the Land of the Free?

I am in eastern Kentucky now. It's beautiful and people here seem wonderful. I feel out of place in that people seem more frank in some ways and warmer in others compared to my home state—both of which I like, but I think I come across slightly the wrong way in both cases. I get the feeling that excessive politeness of the wrong sort can seem condescending. Also, people here gab like there's no tomorrow, which I'm certainly not used to. Still, I haven't gotten a single "bless your heart" or anything of the sort here.

Also, funny to me: On my way to the hotel, I passed an Amish man (or a Mennonite?) driving a horse drawn cart. When I arrived, as I was unloading my bag, a different Amish family got out of a nice SUV next to me, and when I stared a little too long, the father laughed at what must've been my visible confusion. I called him sir when we exchanged pleasantries on the elevator and he said "later, man" when we parted ways

I had an emotional breakdown yesterday after an argument with my ex girlfriend and decided to drive through the part of town "where cops don't go" according to locals. There were bandos everywhere, covered in graffiti, and there were black people laughing and arguing and socializing outside of the convenience store I stopped at. I went to a 24-hour fast food place and ordered a large soda. While I was waiting in the drive through (there were colored people lined up ordering food at 3 am for some reason), a very sweet sounding crackhead woman asked me if I had any money and I ignored her. I drove to the nearest liquor store - the clerk was behind bulletproof plexiglass - and bought a tall boy and a single shot fireball and filled the soda cup with them. I returned to the fast food place, now somewhat intoxicated, rolled my passenger window down, and told the crackhead I had $10 if she'd suck my dick and opened my door. She immediately got in without question. I drove around the block, making three right turns, and parked next to a random building facing the street. I took my dick out and I was rock hard, and the blowjob was decent but not great. She asked if I was a cop between sucking which made me laugh. I couldn't cum because I realized I was so close to a main road and the gravity of what I was doing was starting to set in, and so I handed her the money and told her to stop. She got out of the car and thanked me (lmao) and truthfully I feel pretty good about funding a hit of crack for her and she didn't even have to swallow my nut, so it was basically charity.
>>
>>2825557
(Continued)
I proceeded to drunk drive down the highway and a black woman in an SUV seemed to be brake checking me, and pulled over and rolled her window down and started shouting at me. I told her I didn't want any trouble and she said "you white peoples never do". She said I was following her and that my car didn't have any plates (no idea what happened to it, I reported it stolen today) and that she was calling the cops. I looked to my left and this sounds completely fabricated but we were literally parked maybe 50 feet from state trooper who had set up a speed trap on the highway near where we pulled off--so I told her the cop was right there if she needed him. The black woman proceeded to text her baby daddy or something and eventually just left, while I repeated my mantra of not wanting any trouble, very sorry ma'am, and so on.

Also I rented a condo today and I think I have a lead on a job so I'm feeling pretty good.
>>
>>2825558
Oh and between the crackhead and the irate black woman, I picked up a homeless hitchhiker and gave him a ride a few blocks. In hindsight, he seemed to get increasingly sketched out as we went, maybe because I was the only white person for miles at around 3 am, or maybe he just knew where his dealer was or something, but eventually he asked me to stop and let him out.

I don't think I will drink alone again for a while
>>
Also feds tongue my anus.
