Are there any countries a sub7 male sub180 in his 20s can have a normal social life and romantic relations outside of SEA, EA, and third world parts of South America? I am considering doing a masters program in Europe but I have fear that I will end up lonely and a shut in. Can anyone who has done something similar in my situation share light on if it is worth it? I never got a chance to do study abroad because of the coof and want to make up for some lost years. No I am not a total autist fwiw.
>>2826289i have done a degree in italy taught in english.class half foreigner half italian. you make friends with your classmates - the people that went on to advance their career within the structure from the university were very integrated in the social life of their work.you go to uni events, or hang around the uni, you meet other people at the uni.i dont know if it was uni specific or this is a general experience, but while on the surface a lot of it could be lame if you were used to the degen party life of north america what is the point of your degree, you will meet people. there are some that only prefer to hang with their crew, there are some that are polite, there are some that are happy to be friendly with international student. there are plenty of nerds and dorks in every country. butterfaces exist. have even seen beautiful women being "outsiders" at these places where they are nice and shy but are excluded by the alpha hags so they are friends with the weeb girls however all that said, people also have strong ties to their gradeschool classmates so even if you are uni friends you might never have broken into their inner core crew.
>>2826289Can't you niggers just lurk? We have >I am a loser/have low self esteem/underwent a significant recent negative change in my life and I want to get laid/feel better about myself threads all the time. I'd say there's pretty much always one in the catalog.
>>2826289If you go in with the intention of being a lonely shut-in, that's your choice. Some people will try to reach out to you, but if you insist on remaining alone, eventually they will leave you alone. >normal social life and romantic relations in Asia as an uglyfagOh come on now. Are you really stupid enough to fall for the hype? You're gonna be 10x more isolated in a country where nobody speaks English than you will be in Europe.
>>2826289You could have that in your home country but you probably have a bad personality and refuse to do any self reflection
Another one!!!
>>2826507Based passion lol >>2826289anon if you’re on 4chan categorizing yourself in incel language it’s already your destiny that you will end up in Thailand, Philippines, or the few countries where you can get cheap, tutorial mode sex. That’s just the reality. You’ve been exiled from Normie life choices
>>2826326Was your degree related to STEM or adjacent? Did you face age discrimination with making friends with undergrads?>>2826353There are none related to uni programs, just one asking about le trad wife. I want advice related to how people navigated doing a masters abroad and if its worth it with regards to the social aspect>>2826422>You're gonna be 10x more isolated in a country where nobody speaks English than you will be in EuropeI plan to be in Europe not Asia.>>2826505Masters degrees in the US are an arm and a leg and I do not see myself living here long term if I am being honest, I just don't like the people or general lifestyle. >>2826579>anon if you’re on 4chan categorizing yourself in incel language it’s already your destiny that you will end up in Thailand, Philippines, or the few countries where you can get cheap, tutorial mode sex. This wasn't meant to be an incel post I am just describing myself in objective terms if it matters. Also this isn't even a sex tourism inquiry post I just want to see if the experience is worth it
>I am considering doing a masters program in Europe but I have fear that I will end up lonely and a shut inliterally just go out drinking or join some societies and you'll meet people ffs
>>2826289I did my Masters in Germany and ended up meeting my wife. We have a couple children and life is basically easy mode here albeit bureaucratic as hell.If you want basically free universities, then you should study in France or Germany. A relatively small tuition then Italy, Spain, and a few others are options as a non-EU passport holder.Be prepared to learn the language of the country you study in, I‘d recommend starting before getting there. It’s an experience that I would greatly recommend despite me being stuck here in the end. With the note that I love my children more than anything, I‘d have gone to France or Italy if I could do it again. Germany is great though.Feel free to ask questions.

>>2826917Bless you anon. I have a few questions. What was your field of study in? Mine is in a niche field (geomatics related) and Germany has alot of really good programs for it, plus the tuition is free and English barrier isnt as large (plus Berlin night interests me). However, I do love Spain and know decent enough Spanish but I am not sure what weight degrees from there carry as well as there most likely not being many programs related to my field in English (admitadely havent done my research). I have looked into Italy, particularly University of Bologna, but there offerings were pretty slim plus Italians kind of rub me of a certain way.How is the social life in Germany, particularly in Berlin? And the others if you have any knowledge? Also another thing that is good about German programs is they seem to have better job prospects within the country and stronger weight in the degree. I also hold a Canadian as well as American citizenship if either one is more beneficial than the other.
>>2826939Economics.Germany is great, so don’t rule it out. Berlin is Berlin though and its own thing though. You‘d have unlimited things to do there but be prepared to travel a lot in public transport to get wherever you’re going; Berlin is huge. It’s also very difficult to get an apartment there unless you have a lot of money.Germany has more prestige as a center of education, particularly in STEM. The public universities are basically always the best in Germany too.Your personal preferences in terms of culture and personality is what you should respect here. I say that I‘d have gone with France or Italy for that reason. I speak those languages too and know the cultures well, and feel more in my own skin there than here. It is what it is though.Germany is a choice you really can’t go wrong with unless you just can’t handle Germans or bureaucracy and paperwork.Germans can be loads of fun albeit sometimes more reserved up front snd slower to get to friendship level. If you want to socialize here, clubs and universities are the easiest routes. They have clubs for everything here. As I already mentioned, Berlin is Berlin. Germans consider it to be its own thing. It is insanely international and has everything you could want or do going on. It’s also a fairly poor shithole in many areas and the other side of insanely international means ghettos. The other large German cities each have their own flavor but follow a Germanness still. List the cities you’re considering and I‘ll elaborate as best I can.I believe France and Canada may have a special relationship due to Quebec. I‘m unsure though. For the EU in general though, your American passport will allow you the easy route to getting a visa. You’ll need 12k€ annually any which way.
