I'm Canadian and I need to travel to Vienna, Austria for this medical procedure. I'll be there for like a month.I've never been to europe and I don't give that much of a shit about old buildings or history. What is some cool shit I can do when I am there?(I can't drink at all during this trip sadly)
>>2827924>medical procedureCould you elaborate more ?In Vienna you can enjoy the cafes and obviously just walk around and enjoy the architecture. You can also find good concerts in the cathedrals and theatres etc
>>2827944>Could you elaborate more ?experimental treatment to fix my intestines(biofilm removal and fecal transplant)>In Vienna you can enjoy the cafes and obviously just walk around and enjoy the architecture. You can also find good concerts in the cathedrals and theatres etchonestly sounds boring and I dont like coffee lol
>>2827949>experimental treatmentSounds cool. What symptoms do you have with those issues?>sounds boringMaybe the Sauna Clubs (brothels) are more interesting for you?Give us more of your interests if you would like better responses
>>2827951>What symptoms do you have with those issues?OCD(my brain won't shut the fuck up and I have no social life because of it), mental fatigue(Imagine being so lazy you can't even play video games or watch movies), anxiety, insomnia, constipation, food intolerances etc.>Give us more of your interests if you would like better responsesmeh, I just realized there's not much to actually see.I'll probably check out downtown once or twice, then spend the rest of the time in the airbnb
Is this medical procedure being covered by your province? What's the reason for not having it done in Canada?
>>2827955How long have you been having those symptoms? And how did you find out they treat it in Vienna? Im asking so many questions because "alternative healing" is something i study into often and always like to dig deeperThe food quality should be better than Canada and you might benefit from some bottles of mineral water found at health food or grocery stores. You can also find raw dairy to help healYou could make some day trips or overnight trips to some cozy villages
>>2827924> Vienna> cool shitsorry pal you're out of luck, it's filled with concrete and autistic germans the one thing I enjoyed there were the cafe's and you don't even like that
>>2827961It's experimental(Canadians doctors are regulated and don't try new things) and I've done years of research on it. I have Metabolic Endotoxemia.>>2827963>How long have you been having those symptoms?15 years, arguably 20. It's ruined my life. I've spent probably $40k on it over the past 2 decades and very little has helped. This new treatment looks very promising and looks like it will target the problem directly.>And how did you find out they treat it in Vienna?reddit posts>Im asking so many questions because "alternative healing" is something i study into often and always like to dig deeperMost of alternative health is quackery, but 20% of the time they are onto something real. Eventually actually scientists come along to do real research on it and it turns out to be legit. There are studies on this treatment and biofilm over the past few years and I'm seeing one of the doctors from the study.>>2827974>sorry pal you're out of luck, it's filled with concrete and autistic germansyeah sadly it looks boring compared to other european citiesI kind of wanted to go to UK and Ireland.Maybe I could get a cheap flight to London or something when I'm in Austria.
>>2827992> londonlmao visit salzburg or halstatt if you're already in austria scratching my brain in vienna ... they have good brothels, though budapest really outshines vienna through atmosphere alone -> there's another idea visit budapest .this "medical procedure" sounds kind of retarded when you could just eat yogourt for the probiotics so hard to gauge what kind of person you are - the Vienna State Opera might be worth a visit, though tickets are expensive (north of $100)
>>2827992>this new treatment looks very promisingYeah what exactly is it called anyway? And it takes a whole month? I myself have digestion issues (had my apendix removed) and it seems something in my liver/gallbladder is not working well. I might go drink the waters of Karlovy VaryDo you have any good suspicions or reason for why your health became so low in the first place?
>>2827995>when you could just eat yogourt for the probioticsYou really think I haven't spent months researching probiotics and making a wide variety of yogurts that did very little for me?anyway thanks for the travel tips>>2827996>Yeah what exactly is it called anyway?Biofilm removal with colonoscope/water jet>Do you have any good suspicions or reason for why your health became so low in the first place?Genetics, c-section birth, horrible diet for years, alcoholism(since I was 13) etc etc.It all causes your intestinal health to break down, dysbiosis occurs, bad bacteria take over and create biofilms that destroy your colon lining and release toxins like LPS into your bloodstream then brain.
>>2828001Raw milk has helped my gut. But anyway, hope you enjoy yourself and find some healing there
>>2828001Have you stopped drinking and been eating clean (rice and beef)? Lots of pinto beans for a while should also help clean you up.Lurking for the best way to spend a day or two in Vienna since it's that's where I'm arriving in Europe soon.
>>2827992Try to eat good maybe it can help
>>2828044>eating clean>beefkek
>>2828044>Lurking for the best way to spend a day or two in Vienna since it's that's where I'm arriving in Europe soon.OP has issues with ordinary travel goals, food, history, art and architecture. But in general, Vienna was leveled in the war, so expect a lot of rebuilt concrete buildings, of course. The city is pretty however.Cafe culture is major, so do hit up whichever cafe had your favorite visitors from old generals, to poets or artists. Get your schnitzel, and famous cakes like Sachertorte, and pastries as well as coffee. I like Cafe Sperl. There are many daytrips for biking, taking a commuter train, or cruising down the Danube river. You can go down to Melk, the largest intact old library, at that Monastery. Cruise on an open deck ferry boat, one way to leisurely watch the bikers, (often naked) sunbathers and little towns along the way like Durnstein and Krems. You'll pass the ruins of castles and go through wine-growing valleys.Within Vienna, you can tour the Sisi Palace, visit many art galleries, try specialties at farmer's markets. There are indeed many ways to hear strings and music, not the least of which is just to visit a cathedral or two.
>>2828065Beef is the cleanest thing you can eat, granted it's organic and grass fed. Rice and beans on the other hand...
>>2828062>>2828044>>2828036Tried these things a million times. Thanks for the help though.>>2828082This all sounds like old people boomer shit. What about nightclubs and amusement parks?
>>2828090I had Chipotle a few months ago for all my daily calories like I got 4 burritos and ate 3 to go and fuck my poops were SO firm after that. I don't know what they put in it but it was so nice. I got brown rice, if it matters.
>>2827992You're a retard, vienna is anything but boring. Sure, it's no degenerate hell hole like Berlin, but there is plenty to see and do.Visit the museums and palaces. Mountains to hike on are only 1h away from the city and there's the wiener wald if you can't handle mountains.Plenty of theatre/opera (tho not as much as London) and if you want to go clubbing go to Grelle Forelle.
>>2828151There's the prater, one of Europe's oldest amusement parks with plenty of crazy rides.
Other stuff to do: Brothels, going carousing in the "Bermuda triangle", escape rooms (they got some with actors)Visit some of the castles/fortresses outside of Vienna, e.g. castle Liechtensein. And old buildings in general, churches. Even if you aren't a boomer you will like it because you don't have any grand architecture like that over in America. There will likely be some events too.If you're going in Nov/Dec you can also visit the christmas markets or take part in a Perchtenlauf to get hit with chains by farmers dressed up as demonsMore outdoorsy stuff/more excitement? Climbing, bungee jumping, canoing on the Danube.Clubbing? Try Grelle Forelle, Pratersaune or VIP
