Is this a good place to visit?
>>2828731Theoretically yes.Practically, maybe not
>>2828731Not if you're one of those "the only people worth speaking to speak English" kind of travelers. Russia is like Poland, but a whole lot bigger, grumpier, more corrupt and more dilapidated. There's a whole lot of natural beauty to be discovered in all that vastness, but almost every foreigner who has gone solo exploring in middle-of-nowhere Russia has gotten into trouble with the authorities. Russians are paranoid and insecure by nature. On top of all that, prices in Russia have been rising dramatically as Putin diverts the nation's productivity into an endless war. Don't expect Russia to be the bargain that it was just a few years ago...but seeing as all of Europe has also seen dramatic price increases in the past half decade, Russia may very well remain the cheapest "European" country to visit.
Watch the bald jewtuber and decide for yourself
>>2828736russia is going to be hurting after this war, I'm going to wait it out until it's all over and then go. It's going to be a solid discount destination option
I'm Greek-American and would like to visit Russia eventually. I'm guessing if I do I should just tell everyday Russians that I am Greek and pretend I have nothing to do with the frothing Russia hating white Americans? >>2828736>>2828795I don't know what you /pol/tards are thinking besides getting high off Western propaganda, but the US Admiral in charge of Europe, Christopher Gerard Cavoliand the pointy headed Dutchmen who is NATO Secretary General, Mark Rutte have both admitted, one in a speech, the other in an official paper, that in 3 months Russia outproduces the entire 30 member NATO alliance in a year in key military kit and ordinance.
My cousin speaks russian and said it was fine to visit until recently, but recently it has become more likely that the police will pick you up off the street for draft dodging the russian military
>>2828731Definitely! I watch 50 pro-Russia Youtubers and 20 of them were killed by Russia because they were tourists there even when they talk about Russia positively. Also 4 of them were jailed, one get away with a US lawyer and said never going there again.
>>2828869yep i'd avoid it for this reason at least until the war is overthey don't care if you're russian or not, if you're an able bodied man they'll scoop you up and send you to the frontrecently happened to a group of kenyan runners who were in russia for a running competition
>>2828885you've done me
>>2828869That's more of a Ukraine thing. Russian MO is to bribe losers (old drunks and various deadbeats) with giant signing bonuses to volunteer
>>2828869>recently it has become more likely that the police will pick you up off the street for draft dodging the russian militaryWell that's complete bullshit>>2828866>I do I should just tell everyday Russians that I am Greek and pretend I have nothing to do with the frothing Russia hating white Americans?I don't think it'd change particularly much
>>2828731Is that Russia Lite or Dyslexic Luxembourg?
>>2828731not a chance, russia is cooked
>>2828866>you /pol/tardsFunny, as you are the one regurgitating desperate pro-russia cope straight from /pol/. Their collapse is inevitable and they just keep accelerating its coming.
>>2828866>they can produce more of x then we can>never mind that we out produce them from a to w skip x and then outproduce them in y and z for good measure>just give us more money to buy more x for all the "russia production stronk" they are still stuck fighting in Ukraine
>>2828869>>2828881They don't have a draft you fucking idiots
>>2829420America is literally choosing right now between arming Ukraine and Israel, it doesn't have enough for both
